I had a wonderful experience at the temple with my guide, Fendi. He explained the history and the meaning behind the purification ritual so clearly, which made the whole experience much more meaningful. He also helped me take many beautiful photos and videos, which I really appreciate. The water was quite cold, but after the ritual I felt so light and refreshed, both physically and mentally. Just like Fendi said, intention is everything, and trusting the energy of the holy water makes a difference. I arrived at 8am and it was almost empty, so I highly recommend going early for a more peaceful and comfortable experience.

Our guide Botak did a great job explaining the temple setup, rituals and the cleansing ceremony. We had such a great experience and can only recommend it! Go especially in the morning to avoid crowds - it is worth an early rise!

Was so lovely to be a part of the local tradition, it’s a pretty place but also a great experience to take part in, our guide Dana was so knowledgeable, he gave us so much info on what the meaning of each part of the rituals and of the temple, took some amazing pics for us, he was a massive part of our whole experience, once your done there’s places to eat and a stunning little market on the way out. I would definitely recommend going to this

Arrive early and beat the crowds! Our guide Kadek was so knowledgeable and helpful in preparing us for the ceremony. We went the day before our wedding and were honored to be able to include this important tradition in our wedding festivities. The temple is beautiful and the Melukat Ceremony is very cleansing!

We did the Melukat Ceremony in traditional Baliness attire according to the Hindi way. Our wonderful guide Komang was welcoming, informative, spoke good English and took wonderful photos for us throughout the Ceremony. He took us through the Melukat Ceremony at Tirta Empul with easy to follow instructions and enough detail to enrich the experience without overwhelming.
