Iaido is a Japanese art form that involves drawing a sword, and rather than learning from online videos, this special hands-on experience allows you to learn from the largest Iaido organization in Japan. No need to worry about what to wear, as an Iaido uniform is provided. You can then learn essential skills, such as how to draw and hold your sword, as well as how to strike a dummy.

16 minutes from Shinjuku on the Odakyu Line express train to ”Seijo Gakuenmae Station”, 1 minute walk. First, you will change into a yukata. Then you will enjoy matcha and sweets. Then you will learn manners and dance. The song will be "Sakura Sakura" for Level 1. Depending on the number of participants on the day, it may be possible to change to "Ue o Muite Arukou" for Level 2 or "First Love" for Level 3. The lesson will be conducted using a translator and my poor English. You don't need to bring anything. Tabi socks, underwear, yukata, obi, and fans are all available for rental.(You can participate in casual clothes.)
