Our tour guide Kia was so friendly and helpful. The pickup location was easy to find. Drop off was at Taipei 101 or the same spot we met at. Bus driver always kept the AC cranking because it was so hot. It’s a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes. All the locations were beautiful and I’m so glad we got to see more of Taiwan. Bring cash! Most places don’t take card here!

We had the best time with our guide Junior yesterday. We got to learn about Taiwans history and culture. We saw so many temples. We also got to go to Taipei 101. We decided to eat lunch there because it had a food court with a lot of options. Junior was kind enough to offer to take our photos along the way. The car was comfortable and he always kept the AC going because it was such a hot day. Taipei was so beautiful and our tour was great!

Perfect Day trip if you have only a short time to explore Taiwan

Wonderful day traveling to the Geopark, coastline, waterfalls and cool little old town, Shiflen - all not too far from Taipei! We also painted a lantern to release into the air- so fun! Our guide, Jacky was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and knew all of the great places to pose for pictures! The car was very comfortable and he had it stocked with water bottles. Bring cash for the little towns, the museum gift shops take credit cards. You may want to use an umbrella as you walk around - the sun was intense! Ask for Jacky - you won’t be disappointed!

Great tour

This was a private tour, actually I was the only one in the tour. Caleb was my tour guide and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable about sites, history and everything in-between. Taroko gorge is amazing and we visited as much as was possible given the construction repairs after the earthquake (about 3 years ago). I highly recommend it!

A good food tour

Dave was a considerate tour guide and we had twelve tasting including a tea. The dishes were the following. He was able to accommodate nut and seafood allergy from two guests. We had 12 people. A large group - pork blood cake. Not as bad as it sounds - braised pork rice with braised tofu and green veggie on the side - stinky tofu very tame - grass jelly tea - gua bao with pork belly - wheel pie with custard cream - scallion cake too oily - cooked in same oil as shrimp cakes. So no good for my daughter with seafood allergy - peanut roll with ice cream - sweet potato balls - airy mochi balls - tiny shot of Chinese liquor - 38% alcohol. Nice finish and surprise Overall a nice walk around dihua neighborhood and end in ningxia market $50 a person is a bit pricey since the food probably only cost about $10-12 total but it’s nice to meet people from Australia, England and America and hear a little explanation of the food and also stop by a temple in the middle. He also lead us to fairly clean bathroom during tour. Very helpful since I had to go twice. Overall we liked it

Vincent is the best tour guide!!!! We had a great time in the tour. He contacted me a couple of days beforehand and was waiting for us at the agreed time. Vincent is super friendly and helpful and very funny. We loved all the places we visited. Vincent took us to a great restaurant in Jiufen. Our favorite activity in the tour was the sky lanterns!

As a former travel consultant, I select my tours based strictly on the itinerary and inclusions. While this itinerary was perfectly balanced and offered an outstanding overview of this beautiful country, the true magic of the experience came down to our tour guide. A guide can easily make or break a trip, and Su Chuan Ren (also known as Kevin Su) elevated this tour into one of the most memorable journeys we have ever taken. When reading reviews prior to the trip, I initially wondered if the overwhelming praise for Kevin was too good to be true, but he genuinely lives up to the hype. He has a rare gift for presenting information in a deeply engaging, fun, and humorous way, while always remaining incredibly kind and considerate. We are a family of five on a private tour. Tony, picked us up at our accommodation bang on time. He also communicated with us a day before the tour and gave us instruction what to bring. We didn’t feel rushed. We had been given ample time to enjoy the sceneries. Tony took us to a seafood restaurant. We didn’t have enough cash so Tony paid part of it and I paid him back after finding an ATM. This day trip is worth it. You feel relax with enough space to sit not feeling cramped. Tony treated us to Jiufen’s local delicacy of peanut ice cream wrap. It was delicious. I wish I had more. We missed the waterfall. It was our fault that we ran out of time. Tony was kind enough to compensate it, he allowed us to stop at Taipei 101 for a quick picture taking. I highly recommend booking your tour with Aviator. They are reliable.
