A great day out in northern Taiwan

30+ in the group. A large comfortable a/c bus. Well-paced itinerary, although an extra 30mins in Jiufen would have been welcome, for some shopping. James did a good job, however some in the party struggled with the walking and steps and it appeared this wasn’t warned in the information. Very good value for money.

We absolutely loved June. Throughout the tour, we tried several different types of food, and every place we visited felt authentic and had great reviews. We also bought some local products that June recommended to us. While we ate, we chatted about Taiwan, its culture, and everyday life there. June is extremely charismatic, intelligent, and so easy to talk to :) We enjoyed the food just as much as the conversations we had with her. On top of the food experience, she gave us essential and incredibly useful advice for the rest of our trip, which really made a difference over the following days. We were very lucky that this was the first tour we did in Taiwan, because several of her recommendations helped us throughout the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this experience! P.S. Great day trip in Taipei mixed with nature and old town markets

Booked this for a day trip to see outskirts of Taipei, it was a great trip, we had Tony as our guild he described and answered everything we asked. We hit a big storm during this trip, had to detour and few other street delays, but we still get to see all the stuff on the itinerary, driver did his best to navigate thru the storms, yes we were all soaked. thanks Tony for the great trip.

Must do if short on time

Absolute best experience showcasing beautiful sights of Taipei if you’re short on time. Our family of 4 (incl. 2 teenagers) thoroughly enjoyed every stop of the half-day tour and learn about the history. The Sky Lantern was the best! Our tour guide + driver, Mr. Ken, was the epitome of professionalism mixed with kindness, fun and knowledge. He expertly navigated the traffic and managed our tour so that we would maximize our time at every stop. Deepest gratitude to him since our tour extended beyond the 6-hour period but he accommodated with a smile. Would definitely recommend the company and Ken to anyone wanting to do this tour.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The trip was seamless and he also helped us take great photos. We tried three very nice teas in Pinglin. I highly recommend this tour if you are staying in Taipei and don't have a car to explore the rest of the island. You are missing out!

As a former travel consultant, I select my tours based strictly on the itinerary and inclusions. While this itinerary was perfectly balanced and offered an outstanding overview of this beautiful country, the true magic of the experience came down to our tour guide. A guide can easily make or break a trip, and Su Chuan Ren (also known as Kevin Su) elevated this tour into one of the most memorable journeys we have ever taken. When reading reviews prior to the trip, I initially wondered if the overwhelming praise for Kevin was too good to be true, but he genuinely lives up to the hype. He has a rare gift for presenting information in a deeply engaging, fun, and humorous way, while always remaining incredibly kind and considerate. The quality of the trip was further enhanced by outstanding accommodations, highlighted by the spectacular Fleur de Chine at Sun Moon Lake, and complemented by fantastic breakfast buffets each morning. Great tour!

I had a wonderful time on this tour with An. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We visited two beautiful waterfalls and two Old Streets. We also stopped by the Yin Yang sea which had some interesting old abandoned mining buildings across the street. It was fun walking through the old streets of Shifen and Jiufen where I got to try lots of local foods and snacks. I highly recommend this tour and An as your guide if possible.
