Great city introduction!

Our tuk tuk driver, Ranjith, was passionate about sharing information and history of Colombo & Sri Lanka. He was knowledgeable of the sites visited and gave us ample opportunity to photograph and visit each site closer. His tour of the maritime museum was especially rich in the colonisation history of Sri Lanka, including the history of the country’s top industries. The gemstone outlet provided a good overview of the history of gemstone mining in Sri Lanka and gave us space to peruse their products without pressuring us to purchase. Ranjith kindly offered to drop us off anywhere in the city at the end of the tour. Thanks for an excellent introduction to Colombo 😁

Brilliant time

Great team of people especially the captain. Fed us really well catering for vegetarian. Trip was amazing very respectful of the whale and many many dolphins. Huge excitement from the team when they spotted the Fin Whale. All passengers looked after really well with help making move from one side to other for the best views. Dolphins eating flying fish which clearly showed the speed they could travel and we watched in a relaxed environment around them. Would do again if in area.

Excellent Tuk Tuk tour with Sanjay who drove very carefully. We visited all the sites listed. Sanjay had very good knowledge and his English was also good . Finished off the tour with an enjoyable curry. The company were able to accommodate an earlier time at short notice.

Gimhana was very helpful...

Gimhana was very helpful throughout, even offering us help with our transport. As we were Indians, he told us to bring our passports to the national park so that we can get the tickets at discounted prices. It saved us around 3000 LKR. Throughout the safari he was very patient and always waited for us when we wanted to stop and click pictures. A great experience, would highly recommend him.

Beautiful with wildlife

Beautiful setting. The mangroves were spectacular (much better than Madu River!!), well looked after, plenty of flexibility re start times. To be fair, we didn't see a huge amount of wildlife but this was a combo of chance and at some tines, too many boats vying for position. We dud have an issue, which shoukd be resolved- we booked from our hotel in Kalutara, believing that pick up was included. Fair enough that it was shown, but it was only 1r hours before that we were quoted £30 for pick up. They then became a bit difficult and refused a refund quoting T&Cs. We initially cancelled but went ahead. RECOMMENDATION - IF OUTSIDE FREE PICK UP, ARRANGE OWN TRANSPORT - TUKTUK ABOUT £5-6 each way.

Best day out

It was a wonderful day out, and both our drivers and guides were superb. Very difficult to fault the experience. We didn’t see leopards, but did see Elephants, Eagles, Water Buffalo, Golden Jackal, Crocodile, various Deer, Mongoose, Monitor Lizzards, and a dazzling array of beautiful birds. Highly recommended and lunch was great!

It's well worth the...

It's well worth the experience to see New York at fading day light switching too night time as the city comes alive even more. The area for viewing wasn't over crowded so you could take as many photos as you needed. They also had seating if you wanted to take a little break in between or just to sit and admire the view from inside.

Very good service. The vehicle came at the promised time and the driver/guide was able to navigate us so that we were able to see a Leopard, a tusker, other elephants and so many other wildlife. The vehicle was in good condition. All in all a great Safari experience

A well worth, once in a...

A well worth, once in a lifetime sort of experience. We are from the UK and were staying in central NYC. The train from NY Penn to Linden was easy to navigate which can be daunting at first. After letting heliNY know we would be getting the train they offer their free shuttle service from the train station to the experience, and back again. 10/10 would recommend. The actual flight itself was something special.

Request Sri Mal - he is the best!

Our full day yala tour was great, mainly due to our driver and guide Sri mal. He worked very hard to make sure we saw every single animal and we ended up seeing leopards three time, elephants, a bear, water buffalo and more. You can tell he is also passionate about animals which made the whole experience more enjoyable. He constantly checked in to make sure we were doing ok. Couldn’t have imagined a better tour and am very thankful for all we saw! We went on another safari the next day for a different park and the service and experience was not the same. Overall, would recommend this service, but would specifically recommend our guide 🙂

Fantastic helicopter ride. Excellent staff

We booked the ride as a special treat as our children were turning 18 and 21. We all loved the experience and our pilot, David, was fantastic. Funny and interesting commentary. Also shout out to another great staff member who looked after us. I'm really sorry but I've forgotten his name, but pretty sure he was called Emerson or Emelyn.
