We had a great time on our river trip with Nicholas as our guide. We saw snakes, fruit bats, monitor lizards, crocodiles, monkeys, eagles, kingfishers and cormorants. Nicholas was a great guide. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. It was a perfect morning, just the right amount of time out on the water. The manager also met us before the trip at the meeting point at the Aida Seafood Restaurant. We were able to use the facilities and purchase water after the trip. They arranged a Tuk-Tuk for us, from Kosgoda and back. This was 4,000 LKR (approx £10) extra. It arrived at the agreed time to collect us and was waiting for us on our return. We had the choice of a car also for £20. We booked through Viator before our trip and thought it was excellent value for money.

Unforgettable experience

We had an amazing whale watching experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we were comfortable at all times, offering plenty of food and drinks throughout the trip. We saw so many dolphins, which was already fantastic, but spotting whales proved to be more challenging. While all the other boats had already returned to the harbor, our captain refused to give up. He continued navigating the waters, determined to find whales—and he did! By that point, I think most of the passengers had lost hope, but suddenly, the whale finally appeared. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful to the entire team for their perseverance and dedication in not giving up on the search. Thank you for such a special and memorable day!

Great trip to Yala!

This was a great trip that we’d definitely recommend if you’re staying near Galle. We managed to see leopards, elephants, lots of bird varieties, monkeys, deer, buffalo, crocodiles, and lizards, just to name a few. We didn’t think we’d be able to see so much in a day trip, so it was definitely worth it!

Amazing safari with Jayashan

Me and my partner did the half day safari in the afternoon and had the best experience possible. We saw around 20-30 elephants, crocodiles, buffalo, a ton of birds and some amazing plants. Our driver Jayashan was amazing at spotting the animals and knew so much! I would definitely recommend both the trip and especially Jayashan. Book this trip - you will not be disappointed.

Great city introduction!

Our tuk tuk driver, Ranjith, was passionate about sharing information and history of Colombo & Sri Lanka. He was knowledgeable of the sites visited and gave us ample opportunity to photograph and visit each site closer. His tour of the maritime museum was especially rich in the colonisation history of Sri Lanka, including the history of the country’s top industries. The gemstone outlet provided a good overview of the history of gemstone mining in Sri Lanka and gave us space to peruse their products without pressuring us to purchase. Ranjith kindly offered to drop us off anywhere in the city at the end of the tour. Thanks for an excellent introduction to Colombo 😁

Their knowledge of the building’s engineering and the surrounding cityscape added a deeper appreciation to what we were seeing. They didn’t just point out landmarks - they brought the history and structure of this iconic skyscraper to life. Amazing Wilpattu Safari – Highly Recommended!

We had an incredible experience on our Wilpattu safari from Negombo. Our guide was exceptional – knowledgeable, friendly, and really made the wildlife experience come alive. The day was long, starting with a 4 AM hotel pickup and returning around 7 PM, but it was absolutely worth it. The drive from Negombo to Wilpattu took over 3 hours, and our driver was excellent – safe, smooth, and very accommodating. The highlight? Spotting not one, but two leopards in the wild! The park itself is stunning and less crowded than other national parks, which made the experience feel truly special. If you’re considering a safari from Negombo, this is the one to do. Incredible wildlife, a fantastic guide, and a memorable adventure from start to finish.

A well worth, once in a lifetime sort of experience. We are from the UK and were staying in central NYC. The train from NY Penn to Linden was easy to navigate which can be daunting at first. After letting heliNY know we would be getting the train they offer their free shuttle service from the train station to the experience, and back again. 10/10 would recommend. The actual flight itself was something special.
