What are people saying about Split

This trip had a bit of...
This trip had a bit of everything which was ideal for us. Start with the nature, this was the first part of the trip which took us to Krka national park. The journey is not very long (or at least we didn’t feel like it was) and our tour guide (Antonia) gave us information about the park. Once we got there, we were given clear instructions regarding our meeting point and then we were given sufficient free time to walk around the park, enjoy nature and take photos. The waterfalls are amazing and it is definitely worth taking your time to enjoy the view. After this, we took a boat to Skradin. The journey on the river was very pleasant. Skradin itself is a small charming town but there are plenty of things to do with the free time you are given. We chose to go up to the fortress for the very picturesque panorama and even had sufficient time to eat the local dessert and walk around the town. Following this, we went to a winery where we sampled some of their wine and cheese. This was a great way to know the other persons who were part of the tour and we enjoyed our discussions with them very much. We also ended up buying some wine and olive oil from the winery. Overall, this was a great trip and our guide did an excellent job.

Krka waterfalls are...
Krka waterfalls are beautiful in autumn, the boat ride and Skradin are nice if not spectacular, Trogir is good to see too but small and nothing really new if you've already been to Split. What really elevated this tour was our guide Dario, who was funny, engaging, and informative throughout making for a great day.

Highly Recommend!
Great experience! We not only got a food tour, but also history tour. There were 5 stops for food and much more food than we could have wanted. Gave us a great overview of life and the food culture of this region including education about the salt and olive oil. It was nice to hear some of the history of Split and then have a beeak and sample the cuisine. Highly recommend!

Our tour with Lucija was...
Our tour with Lucija was one of the best food tours we’ve ever experienced. Lucija was so knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. She was patient with our questions and was extremely generous with her time, even amidst rain and thunderstorms! Additionally, all of the food we had was incredible, and we definitely got our money’s worth with all of the different foods we got to try. Would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Split!

Split is the biggest city on Croatia's Dalmatian coast and the perfect gateway for all aquatic adventures. Whether you want to book an island-hopping day trip that hits hotspots like Hvar, the Blue Lagoon, and Vis—or would prefer to head inland to natural wonders like Plitvice Lakes National Park and the waterfalls of Krka National Park—the city is ideally situated. But don't spend all your time out of town. Split tours make it easy to see the best of the city, whether you stroll Diocletian's Palace, go on a culinary stroll, or spot Game of Thrones filming locations.
