Please note: Guide will meet you at your centrally located hotel and return you to your hotel (included). Drop off and pickup outside of central Shanghai, such as the airport, cruise terminals, railway station, Shanghai Disney Area, Qinpu, Jiading, Chuansha, or Songjiang will incur extra USD40 for whole group include pickup and dropoff. You can pay in cash (USD or RMB) directly to your guide when meeting.

Itinerary
No matter which tour option you chose, your private full-day tour of Shanghai starts with your guide meeting you and your group at your city hotel. Because this is a private tour, you can choose your departure time, but an early schedule is recommended to beat the rush-hour traffic and to fit the most spots into your full-day time slot.
If you selected public transport, your group will travel by metro or taxi for the day; otherwise you'll travel by private vehicle.
Your tour starts at People’s Park, which is home to a large pond, the Shanghai Art Museum, and the Shanghai Marriage Market. After some strolling and people watching at the park, move on to the Flower and Bird Market where you might get the chance to see a 100-year-old turtle or fighting crickets.
Your guide then takes you over to Jade Buddha Temple to see the famous Buddha. Make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant (if option selected) before going to Old Town to catch sight of Confucius Temple.
The last portion of your day is spent at Nanjing Road and the Bund (or Riverside Promenade) waterfront area. Explore shops and take in awesome views of the city. If there’s time you can request another stop; otherwise your guide takes you back to your hotel.

I had a private tour of Shanghai the other day & it was great! My tour guide Jane was exceptional in her knowledge & experience. Everything was well planned out & when I wanted to take more time or asked to see anything else she was happy to oblige.

We had a message from Jennys China Tours the night before confirming our tour, we were then greeted by Grace at the hotel lobby in the following morning, the driver was ready to take us to all major attractions in Shanghai. Very well organised and good communication.
Grace was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The tour was flexible, and Grace could accommodate our requests. I must mention about the driver’s skill in navigating through the heavy and sometime chaotic traffics, we felt safe with him in the car.
The lunch was very good Shanghai cuisine, and the tea tasting was interesting.

Jessie was my tour guide and she was really good at taking me to the point of interest that I wanted to, along with story telling the history of the place. She was very knowledgeable of the history of Shanghai and all the locations we visited. We had an amazing dim sum lunch at a local joint. we took bicycle around the town, throughout the day for a relaxed and enjoyable tour, that felt less touristy and more local.
