A Winner of a Tour For Thermal Baths Fans
What a fantastic evening on this tour! The small group allowed for everyone to get to know each other a bit which is something I love when traveling. Eduardo was knowledgeable, informative, and a lot of fun! The dinner at Tony’s was absolutely delicious and the baths in Furnas were such a unique experience to have at night. Definitely got to have an experience we wouldn’t have otherwise had on our own. Don’t miss out on this one!

A potentially beautiful day
The guide, Raul Damasio, is wonderful especially given an extremely challenging day of dense fog. We didn't see any of the sights on the agenda. Deeply disappointing given the iconic nature of Sete Cidades. Raul did his best and we did end up closing the day with a visit to a gorgeous waterfall. The tour should have been cancelled. The fog was terrible. Zero visibility for the majority of the day.

We would do this again!
We had the best time. The weather cooperated and the ride was amazing. We saw so many great sites, some beautiful countryside and a few cute little towns along the way. Philippe was an amazing tour guide - he allowed our group to take just enough time to enjoy the view and get a great ride in as well! We would highly recommend this!

Jaon (john) and Andrea...
Jaon (john) and Andrea made a wonderful tour of the island the 2 days we were at sao miguel. Would definitely recommend this tour especially if your limited to your stay at the island, great way to see everything on the island and still get time to explore.

See the city thru food. So good.
This was an excellent well-planned and executed tour of foods and restaurants to sample in Ponta Delgado. From breakfast to lunch with stops at the farmers markets and others. My wife and I enjoyed every stop. It’s a small group with excellent tour guides to discuss the city, history, culture and especially its foods. Five stars all the way if you want to sample the pleasures of the city’s foods.

Furnas day trip is a must see!
Wonderful! The drive from Ponta Delgado takes you North and then to Furnas and loops South after so you really get to see the dramatic scenery. Furnas is a must see! Lots of stops. Bring towel, flip flops, swimsuit to enjoy the thermal bath in Furnas. Guide Miguel was great and so were the other group travelers!

Great adventure. You’ll...
Great adventure. You’ll need to walk to the town taxi stand to get a ride to the meeting location. The cost was 15 euros (one-way). Bruno, the tour operator, helped us call a cab for the trip back to the cruise port. Be sure to wear layers and the temps really change along the way. Enjoy!

Ponta Delgada Tour
I was looking for something to do while my family went coastering. It ended up being very windy so my family’s activity was canceled. Because I had booked a private tour my two family members were able to join in at the last second (for the normal add on person fee which we found be small and fair). Riding around on the tuck tuck was the perfect experience for the area as the streets are very narrow. I don’t think my family would’ve explored so much of the city area if we had not been on this tour. We are more of the nature and hiker types. The tour was a perfect complement to our other activities. A nice change of pace! The guide was very knowledgeable and gave the tour with a sense of humor, which we appreciate. We were given the time and space to absorb the stops. Never in a rush. The guide even helped us find a vegan restaurant in the city for after the tour going so far as to call and check if we needed to have reservations. Highly recommend.

Great experience -...
Great experience - despite light rain, we were able to see Orcas, Common dolphins and Bottlenose dolphins. Did not feel rushed. The kids enjoyed it too.
We were on the Catamaran boat but it is still somewhat rocky on the ocean, as expected I guess, and my partner did get sea sick. The crew members were very used to this and were very helpful. Their tip of not staying in the interior room if you are prone for sea sickness was very valuable.

AMAZING experience and FANTASTIC guides
This was the most amazing experience we had while in Sao Miguel, which is saying a lot since this is one of the best places we have traveled to. The guides, Tomas and Warren, were AMAZING- they were so kind, patient, encouraging and knowledgeable. We did this tour with our 13 and 9 year old children, and we all had a blast on this incredible adventure while seeing some of the most beautiful views. They took pictures for us and helped our kids throughout the experience so my husband and I could focus on the experience. I can not give enough praise to the guides and the experience itself, this is an absolute must do, and when we return to the island we will book this again! I would recommend wearing a bathing suit and/or sweat wicking material to wear under the wet suit (no cotton). They provide all the gear, head to toe. You may also want to bring towels and a change of clothes for after. There are facilities at the meeting point for changing and a lovely little cafe.

Best East Sao Miguel Highlights
Great way to spend a day with some interesting highlights. Tea plantation was a good location for a glimpse of the countryside and a chance to grab authentic souvenirs. Furnas was absolutely worth the visit and the traditional lunch delicious. My favourite part was the Botanical Gardens and thermal pools. Recommend this tour, our guide was great!

Don’t even think twice about booking this experience!!
This was probably one of the top 3 experiences of my life!! I was hoping to maybe see some dolphins from the boat and then maybe 1 or 2 in the water but holy cow!! We saw SO MANY DOLPHINS while in the water! They were so curious and one got incredibly close to me and looked me in the eyes - it was a moment I will never forget. Even the people working on the boat were freaking out about how cool that was! The boat ride was so fun, the people were incredibly nice and it felt very respectful of the environment and dolphins. I seriously cannot recommend this enough!!
