The whole experience was so lovely. The weather was beautiful and the tour was well planned and executed. A bus was sent to pick up all the passengers, we then boarded a beautiful catamaran and enjoyed a long day viewing unique beaches and landmarks and swimming and snorkeling in the sea. Lunch was very good and had many options to satisfy all palates.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for us. A perfect way to explore the island and the water. We travelled with our 3 children aged 15, 13 & 10 and we all had a fabulous time! Tasty food and really enjoyed the hot springs and the snorkelling.

Also, as a last minute surprise, the crew arranged a birthday cake for my husband. We felt very special. The epic sunset view still warms my heart. My husband and I enjoyed our catamaran experience from start to finish. The crew was absolutely wonderful and hospitable. We learned about the history of Santorini while (literally) diving into its most treasured waters and casually dining on the boat with great company from the crew and fellow tourists. We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Santorini Gold Catamaran Cruise

We had a wonderful time on the Santorini Gold Catamaran Cruise excursion which left from the beautiful town off Fira on the island of Santorini. We enjoyed the crew and people we met on board. It is important to note this was not a party boat as there were strict rules that must be followed in order to keep the boat clean and passengers safe. There were 3 stops where we swam, unfortunately, only one offered an abundance of sea life to see. A nice lunch was served as wine and other beverages were also provided. For people coming off a cruise ship it is imperative to know how long it is likely to take just to reach the pickup point in Fira before being driven to the marina. Depending on where your ship moors, you must tender in and if it is to the old port (our situation), this can be a very time consuming event. As it turned out, getting up to Fira on the Cable Car was relatively painless…until we tried to return to the ship using the same Cable Car system where we stood in line for nearly 3 hours with thousands of other passengers from multiple cruise ships using the area to tender back and forth. It is important to note there is a walking path which was closed on our day of travel but even if it was open, walking downhill, is extremely physically challenging. When open, the climb from the sea floor to the top (Fira) should only be done by very physically capable individuals. Much of what we shared in this review is not the fault of the Santorini Gold Catamaran Cruise organization but should be understood before booking your excursion.

Jumping from one boat to another to board wasn’t fun with my ankle that had 10 screws in it. That wasn’t expected. They did not pick us up from the hotel as promised, we had a short walk. They did not have a normal small bridge to board, we had to use help of two people to get on it. Unacceptable!

This was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our Santorini trip! From the moment we booked until we were dropped off afterwards, everything was perfectly organised. The pickup, transfer to the catamaran, and communication throughout the entire experience were seamless and made everything completely stress-free. The cruise itself was simply breathtaking. The views were absolutely spectacular, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. It's a memory that we'll treasure for years to come. A huge thank you to the incredible crew! They were warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had an amazing time. They went above and beyond by offering to take photos, answering questions, and making each guest feel welcome and looked after. Another shout-out for the incredible food served during the cruise! Swimming in the crystal-clear blue waters was definitely one of the highlights and is an absolute must! The crew also provided goggles and floating noodles, making the swimming stops even more enjoyable. If you're visiting Santorini, don't hesitate to book this experience. It was worth every cent and exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn't recommend it more highly!

The catamaran and staff were awesome! We highly recommend! However, if you’re on a cruise ship, be aware that the cable card lines were insane and can take up an hour or more and we almost missed our ship.

Sunset cruise

I wanted it to be the highlight of our trip to Santorini and it did turn out to be! Billy and crew were very friendly, offered good instructions and prepared great food. We hit all the good spots and had three stops for swim. Water was a bit cold in late May but otherwise so clear and the views were beautiful. Pickup and drop off was smooth as well. A must do!

We had a wonderful experience on this catamaran. The crew was great. There was lots of information we learned about the island.The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. After this one, we went to Mykonos and did a catamaran there. This one was by far so much better kind of wish we didn’t do the one in Mykonos.

This experience was really great. They picked me and my friend up at my hotel with no extra charge. When we got to the port we got onto the catamaran quickly. They greeted us with a few dips and toast. Alcohol was unlimited throughout the trip. The ride was so pleasant and the two crewmen were the best. Really nice guys. So hospitable! We made several stops along the different beaches and had opportunities to swim and snorkel. The crew even threw some bread in the ocean to attract more fish for the snorkelers. They provided towels which was nice and even rinse you off with clean water if you decide to take a dip in one part of the water that is high in sulfur. Dinner was great. Chicken, sausage, pasta with marinara, oven grilled vegetables, pita, and salad. It was all very delicious. The sunset was beautiful and they finished off the trip with a light dessert of Greek yogurt with honey with some sour cherries. I would give this trip a 9.9/10.. only because I don’t drink alcohol and they didn’t have coffee. Otherwise it would have been a perfect 10.

Aegean Sea Fun Times!

We cruised with our 9 month old comfortably. The underwater views with masks were astonishing for the older kids! Coastal scenery was beautiful in the sunset. Crew was great and attentive. Food and drinks were ok. Beware sea can be choppy at times and windy. Overall, great experience for ages 9 mos. - 67 years old!
