My husband and I did 2 rides each. They were super fun! The first straight track looks like a bunny hill from the bottom, but certainly doesn’t feel like it on the way down! You don’t flip over, but you also don’t go down straight like on a playground slide. We did the zig zag path second which was also a blast. Very funn! Highly recommend going in late Nov too. Absolutely no lines and no rushing about.

What a fabulous and unique experience. We did the two run option and were grateful we did. Not only fun to experience zorbing but their smooth process and top notch operation of getting you to the top of the runs and keeping you warm and comfortable between them was greatly valued.

I purchased a package that included two rides for three children (aged 11, 12 and 13).
However, the rules were not explained clearly to them.
When the three children went down together on one tube, it was counted as if each of them had already used one ride. The kids understood it differently — they thought that if the three of them shared one tube, they could go together three times.
Because this was not clearly explained beforehand, it created a misunderstanding and felt quite unfair to us.
Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing and I would not recommend it to friends. If someone I know plans to try it, I will advise them to make sure they clearly understand the rules first.

This was a blast!! We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this activity but we had such a great time. The hot tub afterwards was definitely a plus.

Was quite pricey for a quick ride, but it is very fun and a worth it activity! Make sure you wear bathers, as you will get soaked.

Super fun! A must do. You’ll get wet so be prepared. You can go in with another person as well. There are several options as well.

Awesome! Everyone loved doing this and wanted to go again. It was ridiculously expensive (cheaper on Viator), but kids were super happy.

This is adventure at its finest, lots of fun, lots of laughter. The hardest part is doing a superman drive into the ball, or be like me and flop your way in like a fish. Either way your in and that's when the fun really starts.

We tried the water ZORB rides, and they were hilarious! Sliding around inside the ball as you tumble down the hill feels like a mix of a water slide, a washing machine, and a rollercoaster all in one. Whether you go solo or with a friend, you’ll be grinning from ear to ear the whole time. There are a few different track options too, so you can mix things up and go again (which we did — totally worth it!).

Staff were great! The kids loved it!! We will definitely do it again on our next trip to Rotorua, a fun afternoon.

This is a MUST DO!! We had so much fun, and all of the workers were so friendly. The hot tubs were a nice touch after a thrilling zorb ride. Our favorite was the zigzag track.

We've all come across Zorbing in our online explorations and New Zealand advertisements, so it felt like a must-try activity. We booked our experience through Viator for two runs, not quite knowing what to expect but eager to give it a shot. Upon arrival, we checked in and filled out consent forms before receiving wristbands indicating our chosen runs: the basic straight track and the thrilling zig-zag descent.
After changing into our gear, we took a moment to warm up in the hot tubs at the bottom before boarding the van to the starting gates. My wife and I eagerly hopped into the first ball together, feeling a mix of excitement and uncertainty as we were sealed inside and pushed over the edge. The ride was undeniably thrilling, but we couldn't help but wonder what could enhance the experience. Exiting the ball felt like a rebirth as we emerged, drenched in water.
With no rush to return to the top, we indulged in another soak in the hot tub, discussing our next run. The boys, keen for more excitement, opted for additional runs, unlocking access to all four tracks: straight, zig-zag, circular, and the exhilarating steep hill. The latter was a unanimous favorite, promising a near-freefall experience at top speed.
Meanwhile, my wife and I savored the leisurely pace, soaking up the sun and the spectacle of watching the boys' descents before embarking on our second run. The zig-zag track proved to be the highlight for us, despite the challenge of staying upright as we were tossed about inside the ball.
Overall, we found the experience to be enjoyable, though perhaps a tad pricey for what it offers. Wearing a shirt inside the Zorb is advisable to prevent any discomfort from the seams. The hot tubs provided a welcome relaxation spot while waiting for our turn. If budget isn't a concern and you've always harbored curiosity about rolling down a hill in a giant ball, it's certainly worth a try. However, having checked it off our bucket list, we don't feel compelled to repeat the experience.

Definitely an excursion worth doing - so much fun, easy to do and not dangerous or scary in the least. So great that we even bought the t-shirt!!

Wow oh wow! What an adventure this was. It looks like a simple easy little run down a hill, but it was wild and exciting. The only part I was disappointed with was no pictures or videos were offered. Would have been fun to share.
On a side note, if it's windy, it'll take a lot longer than I expected. I could only do one of two rides since it took awhile longer getting the balls and people up to the top.

This was such a fun experience! The day we went the weather was beautiful and not a huge crowd so we didn’t have to wait long. All the staff were super friendly and helpful as well.

Something different and lots of fun for kids to do and loved watching them.
Well organised and simple to get to location

This was such a unique and fun experience. We got a two-ride experience and could have ridden so many more times. You will not be able to have this same experience anywhere else.

This was such a fun experience.
Highly recommend! This was such a blast. Definitely bring a waterproof case for your phone-so you can video yourself.
Where a swimsuit-you’ll be wet for sure.
Totally worth the money.
The staff was nice and friendly
Highly highly recommend

It was the greatest fun I've waited 2 years to do this .i would have done it all day. I did an adrenaline adventure for my son who was killed in March. This was his celebration of life.

We had seen the experience on a Australian TV show, and it looked like fun, it didn't disappoint, it was amazing
Nikole_S, Feb 2023
This was SUCH a fun way to spend a few hours. My partner and I wound up upgrading after our two rides to do all four tracks, and it was WELL worth it. We didn't stop laughing for the entire two hours. Highly recommend!

Totally awesome. Wear togs/things you can get wet in. Spa in between the rides was cool too. Recommend it for anyone visiting NZ or even if you’re from here but never done it. You do not get dizzy!
Leander_R, Apr 2022
Loved the experience, came from out of town and will totally recommend. Came with our family for the weekend.

Such fun - the team are great and the process is quick. ENjoy the roll down the hill! Change rooms are heated..merchandise available to buy and coffee is on hand to warm you up but the team are great!

I had fun however the dry ball ride is not as advertised. If you book it, best to go in the morning, otherwise they will cancel it once temperatures increase as the ball becomes too hot. Because of less water, you only have one option which is the straight track to supposedly help with any wind factors. They took photos but didn't outfit me with a Gopro as I expected. Arrange to take the bus, Friday is free, taxis are expensive.

So fun!!! Felt like a kid again! Staff was helpful and great!
Can't wait to do it again!
Loved it!

So much fun! Definitely unique and awesome experience. Even though the sidewinder is longer I still enjoyed the straight line track much more. Be careful of the zipper area, it can scratch you during the sidewinder course.
