What are people saying about Quito

Absolutely amazing tour, do it you wont regret it!
This is a great tour, some history and some food, so a perfect mix. I would do it near the beginning of your visit to Quito because you get to see so many places you could revisit . And Fernades - wow what a guy, a fantastic, interesting guide. Can't recommend this tour enough! I had such a good few hours.

Great day!
This is a full day and worth every minute. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We walked around old town and he described so many statues and architecture in great detail. We went to the equator, basilica and a view of the volcano crater. Weather was a bit tricky but he pivoted nicely. We had empanadas for lunch and he gave us recommendations for other places to visit and eat. Great day! Thank you Jonathan.

This was fantastic!
I loved this excursion. It was peaceful and beautiful. Our guide (and the owner) Jorge was calm and flexible in our group needs. The horseback ride was indeed far from the mayhem of the mountain, but close enough to get a spectacular view of Cotopaxi. The climb to basecamp was a zig zag trail up to a mountain house where you could purchase food and drink at an elevated price. (Pun intended.) Things to keep in mind. Yes, you could definitely experience altitude sickness on this hike. You go up to about 16000 feet. The way down is steeper, so knees may ache. Lunch is not included, but he stops at a gas station where you can procure food. The car ride is bumpy and slow once you approach the national park. Lastly, gratuity is not included, but be kind and leave a little something extra. :)

Fabulous day out! So much variety!
This was tailored to us - what level difficulty of hike and what combination of activities we wanted to do. We did medium hike inc waterfall, butterfly farm, chocolate tasting, hummingbirds and cable car. We had a marvellous day with Ximena - about 11 hours in total. She was really friendly and knowledgeable. This was our favourite trip in Quito as it had such variety and we were lucky to see hummingbirds, toucans, agoutis, squirrels and tayras all in one place. The chocolate tasting was hands on, informative and fun - even had a chocolate face mask! On the. Able car Ximena asked them to stop half way across so we could take some great pics. The scenery, information, wildlife, experience and company all great. The recommendation for lunch in Mindo at Serenity also very tasty!

Ecuador’s capital Quito is famous for its high altitude, colonial architecture, and for being a jumping-off point for ventures into nature. Quito tours help you explore the UNESCO-listed Old Town, visit the Mitad del Mundo monument at the equator, discover local markets and culinary delights, and take in views from the TelefériQo Cable Car. Plus, day trips to nearby attractions such as Cotopaxi Volcano and Mindo Cloud Forest offer adventures beyond the city.
