Our tour will begin early in the morning. We will make several stops along the way. Our first stop will be in San Tadeo, where we’ll observe different species of hummingbirds, as well as other native birds from the area. After visiting the hummingbirds, we’ll enjoy a traditional breakfast in Mindo (optional). Our next stop will be at the Mindo butterfly sanctuary, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the different species that live there, as well as their life cycle and reproduction. After this stop, we’ll take a hike through the Mindo-Nambillo cloud forest to the famous waterfalls, which will last approximately an hour and a half. At the waterfalls, you’ll have the option to swim, so it’s a good idea to have your swimsuit ready. Finally, we’ll visit the chocolate tour, where you’ll learn more about the process of making chocolate from cacao. On our way back to Quito, if time allows, we’ll make a stop at the Intiñan Museum. Highly recommended 2 night all-inclusive jungle adventure lodge stay

The tour is 2 nights at Suchi Pakari Lodge in Ecuador’s Amazon Jungle. Ask for room 205, a unique glass-walled tree-house high above the resort, with three terraces, and tree-top jungle views everywhere you look The lodge is a full-service jungle wilderness adventure base with múltiple daily activities with 3 meals Per day, a nice pool and bar, good internet and electricity throughout. Surprisingly few pest insects Activities were boat rides, animal and plant exploration hikes, waterfall hike, animal preserve trip, native culture center, making chocolate from cacao beans. The hikes require at least average fitness. Meals are served buffet style with group seating. I am a solo traveler and made new friends easily.

The highlight of our trip!!

This was one of our favorite days. Our driver was a wonderful man and a safe driver which I really appreciated. He was very patient and loving with my daughter. We had so much fun. He never rushed us. We spent time feeding the hummingbirds- we learned so much. Tiny toucans even showed up right next to us. We did a fun hike through the rain forest and my daughter loved the cable car. So much so she decided to go ziplining after. These memories we will have forever of beautiful Ecuador. The food at the restaurant was fresh and lovely.

Amazing day with Daniel

We spent the day with Daniel and our driver Ricardo routing around Quito with stops at cable car, Basilica, and the equador. They even pickup and drop off at our hotel by the airport as an extra peek! Daniel was an excellent guide and shared many details about Equador history and architecture. He truly loves guiding and answering questions. His knowledge of the city seemed endless. His English was also very clear .. Even people in the back could hear him . I would highly recommend this tour!!

Gustavo, our tour guide was the absolute best. Saw everything requested, with no rush. Gustavo was knowledgeable, informative, and extremely sociable. He knew all the indigenous history at the volcano, identified all the bird life at Mindo and other birding spots, leading the hike at Mindo, etc. Finished late at chocolate factory, enjoyable and interesting. I picked this tour because of strong reviews praising different guides. Gustavo was amazing; flexible to needs of individuals; never rushing us through different stops until our interests were met. Fun way to experience Cotopaxi

The drive out isn't so long, so that's great. The horseback ride was fun. It was beautiful although very cloudy so we couldn't see much. The hike to base camp was difficult but if you slow it's okay. Again, so cloudy but still amazing. You can eat some soup and have tea at base camp if you don't want to haul lunch with you. Expect to pay $.50 every time you have to use the bathroom 😂. The guide, Dario, was nice and attentive.

Incredible Experience. You should try!

This is a well organized & incredible tour with an amazing & incredible tour guide Jorge. Of all my 4 tours in Ecuador, He is the best tour guide that I’ve encountered. From breakfast, he took our orders already before we reach the restaurant so everything is ready and smooth. He took us to our first stop, which is the Swing to the edge of the world. There he nudged us to do the swing even though I was scared, that experience was exhilarating. I’m glad he convinced me to do it, plus he took a video and photos of the while experience. Then, we went to the adventure park for extreme activities. The only thing I did was the walk to glass bride, but the view up there is also gorgeous. The third stop was to the open air cable car… again, it was a nice experience outside of my comfort zone. Grateful for the chance to experience hanging, basically, on a huge metal basket in between canyons and with the view of a majestic waterfall and the river thousands of feet up. Lunch was in a very artsy restaurant, loved the vibe so much. Last but not the least, we went to the devils couldron waterfalls. Again, Jorge lead us to the most beautiful spots in the site and took pictures of each of us with the view of the mighty waterfalls. Epic view and experience! Recommended 10000%. Thankful to our driver Jimmy who drove us to the various sites and watched over our belongings throughout the entire time. Take this tour!

Amazing Tour

I had a tour with tour guide Pato. I learned a lot from just a single day and enjoyed every second of the tour. Pato brought me to the the central market first where we tried some unique fruits local to Ecuador. We then went to Teleferico and saw the gorgeous view from the top. Pato was not just a guide but also a photographer who a lot of pictures. Then I was able to ride a swing on top of the mountain and took a photo with alpacas. The next stop was at the middle of the world where I saw incredible experiments related to effects of equator. Then went on top of Basilica devoto nacional.

Perfect Guide, Driver, and Tour with both popular destinations in one day as solo traveler!

I had a wonderful tour with my excellent guide, Andrés, and our great driver, Jimmy! Andrés speaks perfect English and was very easy to understand and talk to. He was good at explaining the area and answering questions. He made sure to give me plenty of time at each destination, which was very important to me since this was my only day in Ecuador. He picked me up from my hotel on time and led me to a great place for lunch. I was traveling solo, and Andrés was kind and friendly the whole day. I would recommend anyone ask for him when booking this tour. Jimmy was a safe driver too! I really enjoyed this tour, and hope everyone coming to Quito gets to do it. This tour is especially good because it allows you to see both Cotopaxi and Baños areas in the same day, which other tours do not. Thank you, Andrés, for a marvelous 5-star experience!
