Our tour will begin early in the morning. We will make several stops along the way. Our first stop will be in San Tadeo, where we’ll observe different species of hummingbirds, as well as other native birds from the area. After visiting the hummingbirds, we’ll enjoy a traditional breakfast in Mindo (optional). Our next stop will be at the Mindo butterfly sanctuary, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the different species that live there, as well as their life cycle and reproduction. After this stop, we’ll take a hike through the Mindo-Nambillo cloud forest to the famous waterfalls, which will last approximately an hour and a half. At the waterfalls, you’ll have the option to swim, so it’s a good idea to have your swimsuit ready. Daniel was excellent. He was communicative, ride was comfortable and clean, and we adjusted our plans based on his feedback. His feedback was spot on, with re-ordering a few things to maximize views and weather, and taking us to an amazing hummingbird sanctuary along with the more touristy things we wanted to do as well. The tour was amazing! The hummingbird experience was incredible, there was also a nice hike for about an hour (that can be extended), and the butterfly place was great! What is nice about it is you can choose different things to do when you’re in Mindo. Luis was an exceptional guide who did well contextualising the environment with current events and its past.

Amazing day in Mindo

We had the best time with Wilson in the Mindo cloud forest. He had great planned stops and made perfect personalized recommendations along the way. Zip lining was a blast. Even the car ride to and from Quito was a lot fun, our carpool karaoke session will go down as one of my favorite family memories. Highly recommend taking a tour with Wilson.

What a great day with...

What a great day with Isra, our personal tour guide, for a day of awesome experiences. The highlight for us was feeding the 100’s of hummingbirds by hand, so good. Isra was a wealth of knowledge about Quito, the volcano’s and the cloud forest. He helped us all day and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had the best day. We highly recommend a trip with him.
