We had amazing day, small group of three to see Pappallacta. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and driver, Pamela and Byron were amazing and very welcoming. It’s clear that Pamela loves her work as a tour guide and her joy in spending the day showing us her country was such a nice way to experience things. We did this tour the day after arriving in Equador and highly recommend, it’s a good way to relax after long travel days. And don’t skip the massages, it’s worth it!

We had amazing day, small group of three to see Pappallacta. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide and driver, Pamela and Byron were amazing and very welcoming. It’s clear that Pamela loves her work as a tour guide and her joy in spending the day showing us her country was such a nice way to experience things. We did this tour the day after arriving in Equador and highly recommend, it’s a good way to relax after long travel days. And don’t skip the massages, it’s worth it!

We did this your on our first day after a long flight to relax a little. We did a small walk first along a river then had a relaxing two and a bit hours in the pools. There were many pools to choose from and go between, just a relaxing experience all round. Pamela was our guide and she was fantastic! She really made the experience for us!

It was a wonderful experience. We were picked up at our hostel at the agreed time. Carlos contacted us and told us with which car he would arrive. The ride to the thermal was a scenic experience. Carlos gave us information about Ecuador and Quito, and he answered all our questions. We had a great time.

The hot springs was beautiful, clean with excellent facilities. Spa services were really enjoyable. The bus ride from Quito was enjoyable due to the tour guide Irene, who shared very interesting details about Quito and surrounding area.

A lovely few hours to relax at the end of a mammouth trip. Carlos was mine and another travellers guide and picked us up in the car navigating through the Quito traffic and roads to palpallachata which is about 60 to 90mins away. Opted out of the hike as it was a bit cold and feeling the alltitude. Decided to upgrade to the spa rather than the public pools and had a massage. You can use the public pools but you will have to walk between them if you want too. Stopped by the lake on the way home for a few minutes.

This tour is perfect to relax and rejuvenate after all the hiking and activity of your other tours. We opted out of the optional hike in this tour and headed straight to the spa.
Our guide Irene was incredible! She was very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and made sure we were completely taken care of. Thank you for an incredible time!

The drive from Quito to Papallacta was incredible. The hot springs are beautiful and the hike along the River was really pretty. Our soak was wonderful with not many people. We’ll stay overnight next time!

The hot springs were amazing!! My guide was less than amazing. They will let you rent a towel there for $1.
BRING A TON OF SUNSCREEN AND REAPPLY I didn't need any bug spray.

Carlos our guide was great, ask for him😊. The hot springs is one of a kind. If you like natural hot springs don’t pass this one up. Great scenic drive as well!

This tour from the company "Quito Tour Bus" was awesome! Our tour guide Carlos was so friendly and very knowledgeable about all things Ecuador (from the volcanos, cities, history, food, flowers, waterfalls and other interesting stories). For those of you like me, who love to capture the moment of every portion of the experience, Carlos was always willing to take a picture to help do just that. He had the BEST hospitality and always was willing to go over and beyond to show more and provide more of the best experiences for the tour.
The funny thing is, I had booked a previous tour to Banos with this company (Quito Tour Bus) and my tour guide was Marco, and Carlos was the driver for that particular tour. So I had already met him and Marco and they were both so nice and treated the group like family. So I was excited to find out he would be my tour guide for my trip to Termas de Papallacta. Termas de Papallacta was so relaxing and worth it. I felt like it was the perfect treat for ending my trip in Ecuador after many hikes and adventurous activities. The property is well kept and the natural hot water will definitely hit the spot. If you are ever in Ecuador and are contemplating who to book an activity with, I highly recommend to search for Quito Tour Bus on Viator or Trip Advisor. If you get Carlos or Marco as your tour guide, you are in for a treat!

Beautiful place, decent guide. Don't miss this location. Fyi don't return to city until 6-7 and they let some people off nearish to the airport as you pass it 40 min away from Quito.

Great trip to relax after some intense hiking days! Our guide Mauro was very knowledgeable and shared some interesting facts about the local flora and fauna during the busride and on a short (optional) hike. Afterwards we had about 4 hours to relax at the hot springs.

After a very busy week of travel and tours I decided to spend my last day in quito going to the hot springs. Great decision! It was very relaxing. The massage (extra$) was fantastic. The service was great and the tour guide Erica was great. Overall, it was a great experience.

Very nice trip. Excellent hike around the area, beautiful waterfalls, I highly recommend it. Mauro, our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Hot springs were worth visiting, although not the best I've seen; great location, beautiful surroundings.

The spa experience was mediocre but it is always nice to spend the day in hot pools. The small hike to the waterfall was enjoyable and I got some great photos!

Guide Erica was very good. Facilities were clean, bus was clean. Meeting spot easy to find. Amount of time spent there just about right...
There is also about a 35 minute hike available should you be interested. Things like mud wrapping, sauna and spa services also on sight/may or may not be included in your tour...

The hotsprings were very relaxing and the Spa itself was very clean and had a good menu to purchase food from a snack pack was provided at the beginning of the tour, and would have been enough to stay full. There are several pools at different temperatures nestled around some beautiful mountains with fantastic views. Truly a relaxation paradise with some additional spa options not covered by the tour if you are interested.
The scenery and views were gorgeous on the way there and we got to see a lot of the countryside.
The stop at the local mini-farm was interesting. I tried the best coffee I have ever had, and got to see and try some of the local food/crops grown on site. The people there were very warm and kind, and a little bit quirky. The views from the top of the building were great, and was definitely worthwhile.
The only drawbacks was the meeting point was listed at a very busy and large intersection, and it took us a bit to find the actual tour stand. Our tour guide was friendly, but did not have the best English. We didn't really learn much about the local countryside and had a hard time understanding. It did not affect our enjoyment of the hotsprings and mini farm, but was enough to rate the trip a 4/5.
A great way to start your vacation to melt away flight stress, or finish your vacation to rest sore muscles from seeing this beautiful country. Highly recommended.
