Book it!
The staff was awesome. The beach itself is nice. The van ride to the beach was very hot, the A/C didn’t work.

Girls trip
When booked we were told trip was at 8am. The day before I texted to confirm trip and we were told they were picking us up at 710, if I had not called we would have been late. Once we arrived at the place there was a lot of confusion, some due to no English some due to not having reservations correct. Overall trip was a lot of fun, beach was beautiful and cave swimming was a unique experience. Plus getting muddy was fun.

Enjoyable Excursion with a Few Caveats
Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and the staff, especially our primary guide, were great. A few aspects of the excursion, however, felt somewhat misleading. The advertised chocolate and coffee tasting consists of only very small samples (thimble size), and there is no actual chocolate provided. The tasting is primarily designed to encourage purchases at the store. On the topic of purchases, I strongly recommend carefully reviewing your receipt and calculating the exchange rate yourself. One member of our group was nearly charged approximately $1,200 USD for her purchases that no where near were worth that amount. Fortunately, she reviewed the total before completing the transaction. For sure gave off scam vibes. The cave itself was beautiful and well worth seeing. However, before arriving at the cave, the tour stops at another store where guests are encouraged to shop. While the sales approach was not overly aggressive, it did detract somewhat from the overall experience. The beach was absolutely stunning, clean, and one of the highlights of the excursion. Similar to other stops, there were local vendors present attempting to sell goods and services. While understandable, the frequent sales pitches could be distracting for those looking to simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, I enjoyed the excursion and appreciated the guide and staff. With more transparency regarding the shopping stops and tasting experience, it would have been an even better experience.
