What are people saying about Porto

Great fun!
A wise Portuguese man told us to avoid the tourist traps whilst in Porto but our boat trip on the Douro wasn’t in the slightest bit touristy and felt more like a cruise on the river sharing wine and snacks and chatting with old friends. We had a really nice group with us on the boat and our guides, whose names I sadly don’t remember, (they were cousins who shared the exact same birthday!) were so friendly and funny that the time just flew by and we were sorry for it to end! It was one of the highlights of our weekend in Porto (sorry, not sorry Miguel! 😉)

Sail in style
Beautiful night of sailing on the river. This cruise is different as it is on a sailboat with more intimate setting. We were able to sit out on the bow of the boat, on very comfortable large pillows, truly unique. Comfortable couch sitting in the stern area. Our crew Camilla and Carlos very attentive. The crew even provided some light blankets as it was a bit chilly. This cruise sails out of the Douro marina just a short uber or taxi ride. The crew offered complimentary drink/ wine beer soda. The boat is equipped with a restroom.

Highlight of our Porto Trip
What a wonderful experience. Truly a highlight of our Porto trip. Pedro our host provided us with an amazing history of the bridges, the yacht and cruise were beautiful! Not to mention the intimate setting a fabulous wine and a sunset that was breath taking.

Book the private cruise!
Ahhhhhmazing small, family owned yacht cruise of the 6 bridges. We booked the small group (12) trip and decided at the last minute to upgrade to private. Unbelievably the best, most special time in Porto. The sister brother team were a perfect combo of information and privacy, kept our wine topped off and beautiful weather!

Porto is built up from the Douro River, which historically provided the city’s wealth through its port and today serves as a gateway to wine regions, ancient ruins, and the Atlantic Ocean. Choose your adventure with Porto cruises: perhaps a full-day tour up the river to a vineyard, a small-group cruise and lunch, or a luxury tour of Porto’s six bridges from the water. Whether you choose a larger group tour or a private boat with a dedicated captain, you can’t go wrong in one of the continent’s most scenic cities.
