Where's the tour guide?

I'd love to tell you it was fabulous but the guide never showed, never emailed..nothing. the cemetery is huge and is probably best seen with a guide. I couldn't find the Graves of anyone as the pdf provided by Pere LaChaise is confusing. Would not recommend booking with Bon Bon Tours as they seem unreliable and unprofessional. I am awaiting a refund.

The guide didn't show up to the meeting place. I waited around for 10 minutes prior to the set time and 20 minutes after. At least I received a refund, but it was still not a good experience. I ended up purchasing a self-guided tour online from a different provider.

No option to give no stars

Very unclear directions to meeting point we waited by Phillipe Auguste but guide didn't show up there. Then we went back to cemetery entrance again no show. At 14.45 we gave up. What a waste of time and money. No contact number to try and locate guide. We are very disappointed 😞

Tour guide didn't show up. 2pm Tour was booked shortly after midnight and confirmation email received from Viator. Waited for over 40 minutes (including time spent calling Viator) and refund was not provided, only requested of the tour operator. I don't appreciate that such a tour can be booked same day if the guide is not expected to show up (particularly after a confirmation email is received). We did a self guided tour by ourselves after neither Viator nor myself could contact the tour operator at their two available phone numbers. A shame.

Brilliant and very interesting tour. Well organised with clear instruction on meeting point. Nika our tour guide spoke very good English. He was very informative and gave our party a very enjoyable experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

Really worth doing. I learned a lot from the stories the guide shared with me. Really knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. The guide matched my walking speed as well as my interest in the graves and monuments I was really interested in seeing.

We could not find our guide at the cemetery. We were at the meeting spot on time and no one was there. We tried to call the local number and there was no answer. The company said they called us, but we did not get a call. We did get our money back. I would tell others to try this service but to verify the meeting place ahead of time.

The history, the culture and the legends at Pere Lachaise Cemetery. Daphne Parr was an excellent tour guide. She has a wealth of knowledge of the famous and infamous that are buried there, along with some post-burial legends. It is impossible to cover the entire cemetery, but you leave with another perspective of Paris.

Tour operator issue

Very disappointing tour because there was none. 40 minutes before the tour was to start the operator canceled stating the cemetery would close due to weather. We had traveled across town which cost a total of €40. The weather was cold…54° but no rain or storm. People walked freely among the cemetery. I don’t know what weather our guide was talking about. Again, very disappointing and would like compensation.
