What are people saying about Paris

Great Tour, Good Guide
The tour was good. It was an easy meeting location. I liked having the headset. Our guide was Sol and she was great and funny. I loved getting the back story on the different pieces of art she showed us. The Louvre was SO CROWDED and HOT, but that was nothing that the tour company could control. At least we didn't have to wait in a long line since we had our tour tickets. It was a great tour for an overview of the Louvre and you can stay there after the tour for as long as you want.

Sophie is a great guide. The palace is a must see!
Sophie is very nice and can tell she enjoys her job. She always ensured the group was together and made sure to guide us the whole way with as many facts as possible without making it seem overwhelming. The palace is such a memorable part of my trip and learning about it thoroughly helped me understand its origins, which made it more fun for me!

Versailles with Ricardo
This was our absolute favorite tour while we were in Paris. It was well-organized, the bus was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Versailles was more vast and beautiful than we could have imagined. But the best part of the tour was our guide, Ricardo. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided information and insight about Paris and Versailles. He wove all the facts about the kings, history and the palace together in a very interesting way. He was the best tour guide we had. Would highly recommend it!

Fantastic experience!
What a great time we had! Our tour guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, and fun. It was a great mix of biking, walking, learning, and conversation. The market food we bought was delicious and the picnic was perfect. I did some research ahead of time and one of the selling points of this tour was the fact that it included a guided tour of the palace which I can't imagine not having. The whole experience was one of the highlights of our trip!

Eiffel Tower with Summit Access
We did a guided tour (group of approx 20 people). Our tour guide Lady E was extremely knowledgeable and informative. There’s 327 stairs to the first floor and then 347 stairs to the second floor. The elevator to the summit was about a 20 minute wait but worth it, the view of the city is incredible from the summit. All together it’s about 700 stairs. A must do, the experience is worth it.

Perfect tour to see highlights!
This is an excellent way to tour the Louvre to see important highlights and not feel overwhelmed (there is a lot to see). Our guide did an excellent job presenting the Louvre over history and showcasing various pieces and artists, with the final stop at the Mona Lisa. Our college aged daughter enjoyed the tour too, not too long! We loved sculptures we hadn’t seen before based on descriptions from our guide, he kept it informing and interesting. We visited during the heat wave and our tour had to bump to the morning, due to the museum closing early. We were grateful they didn’t cancel and reached out early enough for us to move plans. Highly recommend this tour!

The overall experience...
The overall experience was good, Versailles is beautiful and a must to visit. As far as the logistics, the meeting time was not very clear, our tickets had an entry time of 8:45, so since there was no meeting time on the tickets, we got to the get your guide office at 7:30 to find out they didn’t open until 8:15, I did message them the day before, but no one replied. Once the staff got it, they told us to come back at 8:55
At the end of the tour we didn’t know a new tour guide would meet us to take us back, so we sat there and they thought we were no show, but we walked to the bus with everyone else when we saw people that were in our bus earlier.

Stunning!
The day we arrived in Paris it was late afternoon and we didn't want to do much...and this was a perfect start to our vacation!! We walked to the top (284 steps) in the late afternoon staying through dusk and then darkness! The city sights were beautiful during daylight, but absolutely magical when the city lights lit up! Especially the Eiffel Tower!! A dream come true!

Great Tour Well Worth the Money
Our private tour of Notre Dame Cathedral totally bypassed the hour-long line to enter the cathedral – great on a 100-degree day. Our Guide Diana was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the various contents and history of the Cathedral. She used her IPAD effectively to show what things looked like before the fire, what the interior looked like immediately after the fire for comparison to present day. It is a miracle that the stained glass survived only for Macron to replace some of it as a part of the post fire rebuild. Things that were at either end of the cathedral were undamaged. Most of the damage to contents was where the flaming roof collapsed in the center section. She also explained all of the statues and symbols on the façade of the building. I highly recommend this tour.

Leo is a rockstar
Leo was such a phenomenal tour guide. After a small snafu with the meeting point, she took us into the catacombs. She knows so much about the catacombs, describing herself as a cataphile. She knows so many little details about the place! It was very memorable. It was super cool to see parts of the catacombs that regular visitors can't see. I would love to explore the catacombs with Leo! She even gave us recs for a nice place to have a drink after the tour.

Stones, cemeteries, and bones! With lots of stairs.
The Paris Catacombs tour with Saeed is a very unique experience for those who like the macabre. The experience starts with learning how the rock was quarried to build the great monuments of Paris, moves to the burial and cemetery crisis around the time of the 1789 revolution, and the unique solutions that were put in place.
Be prepared to go down and up spiral staircases. There are no lifts.

Our Guide was terrific.
Our guide was fabulous — enthusiastic about the chocolates, breads, and other goodies we tasted, but equally enthusiastic and descriptive of the rich history of Paris and the Marais District. When I (80) got droopy about half way through, she graciously suggested a break for water, coffee or cola. When one of the destinations was closed unexpectedly, she easily and cheerfully regrouped. When it started sprinkling she entertained us with more tales while we waited and then shepherded us on our way. I wish I could remember her name - she accounts for all of the stars, along, of course, with the great goodies.
