It was a beautiful and easy way to get a more proper insight into Mongolia. Both my guide Tsoki and the driver Zoloo were extremely kind and making all possible effort so that I could feel comfortable and see the places of my interest. The monastery at Erdenne Zuu is extraordinary and itself already worth the journey. The yurt campsite was also very interesting and there was a live music performance at night.

Tour guide Utaa was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a long drive through the beautiful Mongolian countryside and thoroughly enjoyed Karakorum. Unfortunately, the national park was closed and so I did not get to see the wild horses. Loved the food and the overnight in a yurt

It was interesting to see the vastness of Central Mongolia. The wheat fields were huge. The camel ride was great. They were so gentle and fluffy.

I would not recommend this tour to friends or family. While there were parts that were great (seeing Mongolian country side and staying in Yert) it is definitely not worth the money. This tour could have operated at 1/3rd of the price charged. Both days were taken up by driving in a squished van, food would have been worth no more than $30 AUD in total. I will say that the guide tried his best but really didn’t understand much of what was being asked (I.e., information about the day and what was happening next).

Ortho and the driver were amazing!!! One of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve been to almost 90 countries at this point. He was super knowledgeable and we say and did everything planned and that I wanted to do. Great human beings!

A good guide and a good trip. Things went smoothly, was pretty well organised. Guide spoke English well
We did most of the activities on day 1. Day 2 was lunch, Hustai and driving. This was largely due to spending about 3 hours getting back into UB due to congestion
4 stars because we didn't do the lookout or meet the nomads (went in their house but they weren't home). I also felt the communication could slightly be improved - outline the plan for the day, how much time we have and until the next stop, toilet locations etc. These are minor improvements, overall a very good experience

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide, Urtnasan, and driver, Tsgmed Tseegii, were so positive and enthusiastic. They took our picture all the time, and we were happy to indulge in selfies with them. We were impressed with Urtnasan’s English, having only studied for about 3 years. It should be noted we did all the things listed in the tour description, but just not in the same order. This could have been due to us going in November which was definitely not peak season. We particularly enjoyed the frost-covered desert, camel ride, and staying overnight in the ger (which was very warm!) Should be noted the roads in Mongolia are rough, so if you get easily carsick, you may struggle, though we had no issue with this. Tsgmed surely made it a smoother ride than we could have done ourselves, especially in the crazy, city rush hour traffic. Overall recommend!

Dear Ryan
Thank you for your kind words for
our driver and guide! It is well appreciated

The camel ride and the time to Kharakorum. Unfortunately, the drive time was very long but through no fault of the tour guides--it's just the vastness of the Mongolia! The gur (sp?) experience was unique, but probably not one that I'd wish to repeat. Our tour guides were warm and friendly and took good care of us.

Fantastic time in Mongolia. Both our guide and driver were knowledgeable, personable, and perfect for this tour. We’d highly recommend this tour, our guide, our driver, to any friend

Great trip!
I give it 5 stars because it really was fun and the description of the trip matched how it went! But to explain some details of what to expect:
We were promptly picked up at our hotel by our guide and driver, both spoke adequate enough enough for the trip to work though there were some language barriers here and there. Not a problem though!
The car was comfortable and clean, they had a bottle of water for us (we brought extra bottles with us which imd recommend, though you do stop at some places where you could buy more) and shared some history about Mongolia and Ulaanbaatar as we left the city.
There was never more than about 2 hours in the car between a stop or at least a bathroom break which was great, but be prepared for a long drive! Especially on day 2.
All the places we stopped were very interesting and tourist friendly and we had a great time. The lunch on day one was prorated by a nomad family and we questioned a bit the cleanliness of the food prep process but neither of us got sick! I’d recommend bringing hand sanitizer though, no running water in sight.
The yurt we stated in was definitely a tourist setup but it was nice! Running water and a heater inside. The meals at that camp were great.
Our guide was always offering to take pictures for us, asking if we were enjoying ourselves, and making sure we were comfortable!
We saw many historical sights, beautiful scenery, and wild horses! It was a much better tour of Mongolia than we could have given ourselves.

O think this was an incredible expensive tour with very poor offer. It began with no one answering to my messages. Then we went on the tour but they only one small bottle of water. The lunch at the local family was miserable and the family not nice at all. Then sleeping in the get ok but in the morning was me that had to wake up the guide. On the returning we didn’t do the national park with horses because of weather conditions. No one offer me an alternative and just drove me back. I have to say I will never book with viator again

The tour went as good as possible. The driver was focused despite the long exhausting road. Our guide was fluent in English, we talked about the places we visited and life in Mongolia in general. Each place in this tour is worth seeing, and in addition to them we drove to the Empire Map monument near Kharkhorin. It was a great observation point with a stunning view upon the Orkhon valley and the city of Kharkhorin. Camel ride, gers, Erdene Zuu, Przewalski horses and surely local people will become good memories of Mongolia.

It was a fun trip thanks to the very kind driver and guide!! We rode camels and enjoyed the amazing scenery! It was a long drive, but I was happy that the guide and driver were caring for me ☺︎!
