Great small group tour to...
Great small group tour to Chichen Itza. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and it was great that we got to Chichen Itza early and were at the front of the line to get in and experience it before all the rush. We also got around 1 hour of free time there so I’d recommend asking your guide where to go as the time can pass quickly and the area is quite big. Our tour guide also introduced us to a family of local Mayan sellers he’s known for a long time, but there was no pressure to buy anything. He was also a very safe driver. We enjoyed an amazing cenote in a family home, it’s off the beaten path so it was only our group there and it’s very beautiful. Then enjoyed some nice food made by the family and had some free time in Izamal to walk around. Highly recommend this day tour from Merida.

Super day trip to Celestun!
This was an excellent way to spend a day when staying in Mérida! Our group of 12 ppl was taken in a very new van to the boat dock. Sergio coordinated the boat trip to explore the Reserva de la Biosfera Ria Celestún in search of flamingos, roseate spoonbills, other bird life and crocodiles! Sergio appeared to be genuinely interested in speaking to the group about the animals. Although we did not see a large number of flamingos, it was really wonderful to see those that we did and get to learn about their lifecycle and much more! They are just beautiful. We did see a lot of crocs, from safe distances of course! The lunch outdoors at the beach restaurant was delicious (yummy cocktails too!) and it was great chance to have a swim in the ocean at a very quiet spot. It was just long enough and then we were back on the road to Mérida. As a solo traveller, I felt very luck to get the front passenger seat and be able to chat with Sergio. He was a great driver and conversationalist. Thank you for the great day, Sergio!

Chichen Itza is a great...
Chichen Itza is a great site and the main pyramid is incredible. Our tour guide gave us loads of information about Mayan culture and traditions in English and Spanish as we were walking around. It's not enough time to visit every inch of the site but you can see all the key parts. The cenote was fun and refreshing. Then Izamal was a nice way to end the day. You have enough time to climb the Mayan pyramid there and see the main other buildings and take plenty of photos down the yellow walled streets.

Fantastic trip with Sergio
This was our first trip to Uxmal, which I found to be every bit as impressive and Chichen Itza, but without the crowds and aggressive vendors. We then went to two rural cenotes (there are bathrooms and changing rooms); both were beautiful and refreshing and also not too crowded. Sergio is a great guide! Would definitely recommend.
