The Perfect Day in Izamal – A Must-Book Experience!

I can’t recommend this tour highly enough! Every stop in Izamal was a delight, and our guide, Blanca, along with our driver, Fernando, made the experience truly memorable. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to chat with. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable (a cozy car stocked with snacks and drinks!) and to help us fully appreciate Izamal and Mayan culture. Be sure to take their lunch recommendations - it was our favorite meal of our entire trip to Yucatan! A real highlight was the jewelry-making workshop with the maestro. We were so grateful for the opportunity to see his craft up close and appreciated how welcoming he was as he shared his expertise and culture with us. Definitely book this experience - it’s one you won’t want to miss!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. The history of the yellow town was very interesting and Blanca did an amazing job! The carriage ride was great, the tours of museums were very interesting , and the lunch was delicious! We also really enjoyed the jewelry making demonstration by Estaban.

Amazing and Unique Experience!

This experience was fantastic! From seeing the beautiful yellow architecture on a horse-drawn carriage ride to the incredibly unique experience with a master Mayan artist - this trip was one to remember. Gabriel was an incredible guide who was great at answering the variety of historical, political, and cultural questions we asked and is a really kind person. The experience felt very personal and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Yucatán.
