Bad customer service

Unfortunely my husband got sick and though I was within the 24hrs cancellation period when I contacted the provider they didn’t refund me. The local number listed by the provider no one answered , no option to leave a message. Done many trips with Viator never had an issue except this trip

Tour guide fantastic, hidden admission fees not so much!

Victor the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, loved the insights into Mayan culture. Everything timed perfectly, the lunch was lovely, the Cenote refreshing. It was a perfect day. The tour company did not tell us there was state fees to be paidxat park so we got dinged an extra $980 when we were told all admission included really not happy about that as the price was already high compared to other companies.

Our tour to Uxmal, Yaxcopoil Hacienda, and Cenote with Rosendo was very informative and interesting. Rosendo clearly knows the history of his city and the countryside and is excellent at sharing it. There were only 4 of us on this tour which allowed us to ask questions frequently, and Rosendo patiently answered them all. Rosendo took us early in the morning so we avoided the crowds. So much history here that the rest of the world knows little about and that’s why we recommend the tour to all visiting Mérida.

This trip provided a wonderful combination of different eras of Mexican/Yucatecan history. It came to life vividly due to the skill of our guide, Rosendo, who is knowledgeable, entertaining, fluent in many languages including Mayan, and a kind, forthright person. We really enjoyed the experience, the tour guide was very nice and the historic sites were remarkably well preserved, the included lunch was very good and the water in the cenote was crystal clear so it was very fun to swim in.

Our driver and guide Josué was great , answered our numerous questions, drove well, and took care of everything. Hacienda was interesting, tour of Uxmal was interesting and cenote was small and artesanal, and no crowds. Overall a great day.

A Tour to see Uxmal, Yaxcopoil Hacienda, an once privately owned mansion. How it was laid out beautifully and made it function to run the business. The guide explained clearly. Lunch was good. It also included cave swimming.

Uximal and hacienda were amazing, Raul our guide was very personable and informative, easy to warm to. This tour gIves great insight into life in the hacienda and mayan beliefs and practices. No vendors at Uximal makes the experience more enjoyable and emersive, they were a distraction at chichen unfortunately.

Absolutely loved our time at Uxmal. WAY less crowded than others and we got there early. Our guide, Edgar really made the day wonderful with all of his knowledge. He was easily able to answer all of our extra questions about Mexico in general & Mayan history. The cenote was also beautiful and not crowded at all. Overall an amazing day trip

Amazing Tour!!! Don't think about it - just book it!

We weren't sure which tour to book during our trip to Merida and eventually decided on this one because of the mix of activities -- we sure made the right decision. We were picked up on time from our hotel lobby (great communication with Amigo Tours prior) in a nice, clean, air conditioned vehicle. The driver was also the guide and was super nice, informative, and spoke good English. Uxmal is awesome (very few tourists), the hacienda is BEAUTIFUL (our tour of 6 people was the only one there!) and the cenote is fantastic (again, we were the only ones there). Lunch was delicious too. Honestly, this was one of the best organized tours we've ever booked on Viator (we book regularly and travel a lot). If you're going to Merida, don't think about it - just book this tour!

Cons: Upon entering Uxmal we had to pay about 460 MXN per person extra, although the provider writes, all admissions are included. Pros: The tour took place even though there were only two of us and we had the best guide ever Rosenado M. Thank you Rosenado for this perfect tour and yes, you are right: Uxmal is the best, the most interesting archaeological Mayan style.

Hubiera preferido un cenote abierto, no otro más subterráneo y un restaurante que no fuera un "tourist trap" y mas autentico a los sabores mayas pre-conquista; el cerdo, el pollo, la cebolla, y las cucarachas, nada de esto es de América, especialmente con sombreros hechos solo para entretener a gringos. Y el itinerario decía que nos iban a dar tiempo para explorar Uxmal solos y no fue así, todo el tiempo se paso con el guía. Y, la entrada a Uxmal cuesta menos para Mexicanos pero aun así nos cobraron a todos igual.
