I took some time to read through the reviews and would say they are pretty well described, but here is my review on the experience. Booking was quite easy. There are so many options for this exact experience. Pick the one that you feel most comfortable with. I selected a pick up location but was messaged the evening before and the location was adjusted about to a hotel about 10 mins away. This wasn’t a huge deal but it would have been good to know that even if I select a location for pickup might change. Once picked up I was taken to Pablado Park where I was loaded onto another bus for English speakers. The bus itself was a little cramped, but for the tour I wasn’t expecting anything luxurious. You’re given two meals and taken on essentially four stops throughout the day. 1 - farm with animals, 2 - boat ride around the reservoir 3 - Gautape 4 - the rock. You can buy extra add-on adventures at some of the different stops. The tour is exactly what I paid for. I recommend getting to know people on your bus to make the all day event worth while. I would also preface that Gautape is very tourist. The city is colorful and fun to walk around, it is highly dependent on tourism, and you can tell. For my bus, Nico was the tour guide and Pedro was the bus driver. Nico was awesome informational and very charismatic. Pedro got us to and from all the locations in a timely fashion and I want to give him a shout out to that. It was a full day but recommended if you’re looking to get outside the city. I recommend packing a camera, a battery pack for your phone, cash, and sunscreen and/or a hat.

Thomas was an excellent guide!! He made us feel safe and comfortable. He accommodate my husband and I by speaking both English and Spanish. The tour is fantastic way to see the city and get some good exercise! I highly recommend booking with Green Bike tours Medellin. Thank you!

It’s a long, but fun day! Definitely wear good walking shoes. I hate heights but couldn’t resist this, it was definitely a challenge, both for my lungs and my fear of heights but really beautiful views at the top. Breakfast was light, so would recommend packing a snack (there’s also plenty to buy at the rock and other stops). The boat ride was better than I expected. Patricia was an amazing guide, communicated well, and taught us a lot about the history and cultural importance of the areas we were driving through and visiting. Would definitely recommend this experience to my own friends and family.
