The Premium Guatapé Tour That Sets the Standard
This was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Colombia. His passion for sharing the history and culture of the region, combined with his positive attitude and sense of humor, made the experience even more enjoyable and unforgettable. More Like a Road Trip with a Friend Than a Tour ⭐
If you have the chance to take this tour with Yuly, do it! This was one of the best experiences of my trip and easily one of the most memorable days I had in Colombia.
The tour was a very small group-just 3 of us-which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how welcoming she was. During the drive, she shared the history of Colombia, Guatapé, and the surrounding area, but it never felt like a lecture. It felt like a conversation with a new friend on a road trip!
Climbing the rock is definitely a workout, but the views are absolutely worth it. Getting to Guatapé early was another highlight because we were able to enjoy the colorful streets before the crowds arrived. Yuly’s passion for the town, its history, and its people made every stop so much more meaningful. She also gave us fantastic lunch recommendations and introduced us to local fruits that I probably never would have tried on my own.
The coffee farm was the perfect way to end the day. It was a small family-run farm, and you could immediately tell how much Yuly cares about the family and the work they do. Laura welcomed us so warmly, and we had so much fun learning about the coffee-making process while getting hands-on throughout the experience. It was educational, authentic, and full of laughter.
While it is a long day, every minute is worth it. If you’re looking for an authentic experience that goes beyond sightseeing, I can’t recommend this tour- and especially with Yuly- highly enough!

Day trip to Guatape
It was nice, but know that when they say it takes about 10 hrs, that is the actual truth. Please pack an umbrella or raincoat because the weather changes in a heart beat. Was a pleasant experience. The views were really nice and you do everything advertised in this experience.

Fantastic tour!
Celestial was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! Her knowledge of the history was impressive — she explained everything clearly and brought the stories to life in a way that was both informative and engaging. On top of that, she was wonderful company throughout the entire tour. Her warm personality made the experience so much more enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend her to anyone!
