If you're in Malaga and want to explore the City and try all the local favorite foods I would highly recommend the tour. Javi was an amazing tour guide and did a great job of navigating us through the market to taste so many different local Delicacies.

A really fun way to explore a little and sample a wide variety of treats that are special to the area.
I attended the tour solo - always a gamble - but Javi was instantly welcoming and amazing and the entire group was increasingly interactive and nice as we made our stops. By the end we were laughing and joking and taking photos together.
The samples at each stop were plentiful and there was plenty of alcohol. All around a really great experience - our whole group seemed to enjoy it.
Special note. A member of our group had a food allergy and our guide bent over backwards to accommodate. He had special dishes made and took extra steps to avoid cross contamination. Truly above and beyond.

Felipe was amazing! He took his time walking us through the center and always made sure we stopped and really were able to soak up the history of the different places we went and saw!

We loved our food tour with Elise. She communicated in English very well. The tour moved at a great pace and we had several different foods and an alcoholic drunk at each of our 5 stops. All of the food was local items that I had not tried before. The wines, cocktail and vermouth were all wonderful. We ate enough to completely fill us up for a whole meal. We would highly recommend this tour when you are in the beautiful city of Malaga.

The tapas tour was a wonderful adventure. Elise was an exceptional guide who did a fantastic job pointing out local landmarks and explaining the influence of Muslim culture on the city’s architecture. Her knowledge of the city’s history added great depth to the experience. The tour also introduced us to a variety of local foods that I likely would never have tried on my own. It was a delightful way to explore both the culture and cuisine of the city.

Our food tour in Málaga with Alejandro was an absolute highlight of our trip! The food was incredible, every stop offered something unique, authentic, and delicious. Alejandro’s knowledge of the local cuisine, culture, and history truly elevated the experience. He didn’t just guide us; he told stories, shared insights, and made each tasting meaningful.

Don't eat before you start the tour. For that matter, you might want to forego dinner the night before.
Javier was knowledgeable and fun and obviously well-liked by our various hosts. The food, wine, and beer were delicious and varied. The map and background he provided also made it easy to find our way back to all the locations we visited and helped guide us at restaurants for the rest of our vacation.

It was an amazing experience Fernando sorry I mean Felipe 😜was a brilliant host he brought us around the old town to the markets where we got to experience the highest quality meats and olives Malaga has to offer . We were then brought to lovely restaurants where we got to experience the tastiest of tapas while learning about the culture along the way . The wine was not bad either 🥰

I would tell them to try and get Elise as your guide as she did a wonderful job telling us about the historical aspects of Malaga and Spain while at the same time enjoying the many varieties of Tapas which she also explained very well. I would tell other travelers that you have to take the tour as you’ll get a great appreciation for the food and drink of Spain while learning at the same time about its history, its architecture, and important events in their long history. We’ll worth it the money!!

The history of Malaga as shared by Felipe was amazing. The tour of the city including the market was amazing. Felipe made my daughter and I feel like family. He was cordial and courteous throughout the day and made us feel like we need to come back again. The samples of the food throughout the day was tremendous. Come hungry because the tapas samples are very filling and delicious. I will definitely do this again. Great way to learn about Malaga and it's history

This was a fantastic tour, we had Fernando as our guide who was great. There was a really good variety of things to try, some we hadn’t heard of but everything was delicious. Great tour around Malaga city sampling traditional food and drinks. Fernando was our guide he was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and informative. He chatted to everyone and we all enjoyed the tour. He gave us information of best places to eat and history of the city. We returned next day to the food market as it was so good!
