A full day out. A short stay in Setenil de las Bodegas, but this is plenty of time to explore this unusual village. 4 hours in Ronda to explore either with a guided tour or on your own. We explored on our own. A visit to the Bullring is recommended if you have never visited one before. The views are exceptional from the viewing points and the bridge is amazing to see. We had lunch at the restaurant Don Miguel on the terrace overlooking the bridge. Fabulous food and views. Melina was an excellent host and gave lots of information of places we passed on the coach. A really good day out.

My sister and I found the meeting point was easy to locate. Melina, our tour guide, was friendly and spoke excellent English and was very informative; providing lots of helpful information enroute. The coach was comfortable and we felt safe during the trip. Setenil de las Bodegas was a very quiet but pretty village we visited on the way to Ronda. Ronda itself was beautiful. The bullring definitely worth a visit, then of course the bridge with the stunning views and we just had enough time for a bite to eat before heading back to the coach. Overall a truely lovely day out.
We did feel that a little more time in Ronda would have been nice so maybe a trip that solely goes to Ronda, missing out Setenil would have been our preference. Great day though, would definitely recommend.

Alain was a great and informative guide, providing direct instructions and great facts about the area. We had hoped to do the guided tour of Ronda however did not have the opportunity to book this via Viator, unsure if this was because it was fully booked or otherwise however there wasn’t an option to opt in. However we still very much enjoyed our free time in Ronda!

We enjoyed this tour. Our guide Pepe is knowledgeable and helpful. We had an experienced driver taking us to and back from these two beautiful places safely. Trip was good but host was annoying. As a bilingual person everything was said in spanish and english which became super tedious. He would tell in blurb in spanish very excited and informative and then when he would speak english he would give half the information with half enthusiasm. At one point, he went into a 10 mins tangent in Ronda about directions which i had heard him go on about in spanish already, when he saw me looking at the map instead of him he hit me with his little flag stick on the arm because he thought I wasn't listening. Im a grown woman and I dont need to be hit with a stick by a man. It was embarrassing as a paid customer.

I was hoping to get a tour guide to explain the history and traditions about Sentenil and Ronda, with a transponder and ear piece but I guess due to some overbooking, we were left to tour by ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Melina our guide and Visitanddo.com to Rhonda and Setinel de las Bodegas.
The coach was very comfortable with a very competent driver for the 10 hour trip.
Melina is great, very friendly and professional. Her commentary was very interesting and we gained lots of information before we arrived at the 2 towns. The tour was both in English and in Spanish.
It was lovely to then do a self guided walk through these very unique and beautiful towns at the pace you wanted to.
There was plenty of time in each place to wander the streets, have lunch in Rhonda or a quick coffee and breakfast in Setinel de las Bodegas. I would highly recommend this tour company and Melina.

I had a good time on this lil adventure. It was a really big group but we also had an extra large coach. Once we reached the towns there was usually a bit of a walk. You could opt to go out on your own or be taken to town with your guide, and learn about some history on the way. We were offered a specific amount of free time in each city. I feel it was enough time to look around, shop or hang out at a cafe. The price was very reasonable probably because of the large group. Recommend this excursion.

The night before I was reviewing the information and noticed a section that concerned me "The time shown on your voucher is not the pick-up time, but the arrival at destination. Please contact local supplier to confirm the pickup time." I was afraid this meant we were supposed to arrive in Setenel at 8:25am which would mean leaving Malaga 1-2hrs earlier. As I was just noticing this a 9pm the day before I wasn't able to contact contractor but did get through to Viator whom emailed them to verify pickup time. At 7am the next morning I received my answer. 8:25 was the correct time.
Having the pickup location at/near a regular commuter bus stop was a little confusing as was having 2 separate tour buses for the same tour and same time.
Ride was smooth and comfortable until the person in front of us reclined their seat back leaving my mom with just a few inches of space. Please advise riders not to do this. During the ride I believe tour guide spoke twice as much Espanol vs English.
It would be nice if the itinerary was more descriptive than 1 or 2 sentences for each location. How long to get there, suggest places ahead of time and warning about 50 cent public bathroom.
Time allotment was good, was just a little rushed at the end trying to shop on way back to bus.
Driver was very good. Guide very friendly, despite 30-50 tourist nobody got lost or made us late

Great experience seeing Setenil de las Bodegas and Ronda. Guide Pepe was very informative and did a great job communicating how much time and where to meet at each location. Had a good amount of time at each location for a day trip. Felt safe and comfortable with the coach driver.
Took off one star because the initial meet up location in Malaga is very chaotic, and there were two Visit and Do guides/buses for the same trip. A little more communication or heads up from the guides on who they're looking for would gone a long way to descalate questions or stress.

The poor review is a reflection of the tour company/operator and not of our exceptional driver Javier and our knowledgeable guide Pepe.
La Legion, a 101km bike/run/hike race involving thousands of racer and even more spectators occurs every year in May and starts/finishes in Ronda. It moves through different villages including Sentinel. The date is known at least a year in advance and tours to Ronda and Sentenil should not be scheduled on the race date.
Ronda is large enough that we were able to park the bus and tour around the crowds and race barricades. It was a minor inconvenience but we visited the sites we wanted to and still had some free time for shopping/food/drinks.
Sentenil was a nightmare. It was extremely difficult to enter the area with the bus and find a place for us to disembark. How Javier managed to keep the paint intact on the bus is truly amazing. Once we managed to get off the bus, it was a crowded walk to a spot where our guide advised us that we had 1h20mjns to tour and a guided visit was not possible, sorry and good luck. The road to the picture area, under the cliff, was so crowded with spectators that it took us 20mins to walk about 100m. Great atmosphere for the racers and spectators, not so good for visitors looking to see Sentenil. No place to eat and we managed a drink from a store.
Bottom line is the race date needs to be avoided. We got on the bus at 0730 and off the bus at 1900. It was an extremely long day, Sentenil was to be a highlight and we received maybe a third of the tour that was planned. The office needs to be better!!

Pick up was pretty much on time. This didn't feel like at our as much as a guided transportation to and from meeting points. We didn't do the audio guide though. Javier the driver was excellent!! Pepe the tour guide made sure to do a head count each time before leaving.

Various pick up points . Pepe was really good and informative. Both places we visited exceeded expectations. Ronda is amazing , so much more than a bridge. If you walk over the bridge from new to old , turn 1st right there is a walk on the right you come to a viewing point. €5 each including crash helmet and hairnet.
This short walk will get you to some excellent views of the bridge.
Loved every minute of this trip.

People may not realize that the tour bus is unable to navigate the narrow streets in the old towns, therefore, you may be let out a considerable distance from the sites you want to see. The walking time could cut into the amount of time you will be able to spend in these two towns. And, the walking in Setenil is not flat.

This was a great experience, would highly recommend! Our guide Nila was very informative. The bus was very clean and comfortable & had AC. Both towns were amazing to explore with so much to see. You have the option to stay with the guide or explore on your own. They offer an interactive map of places to see and how to get back to the bus. They do leave on time from each place so make sure you are back at the bus in time or they will leave you.
Both places were beautiful with so many places to explore.

We are in a large group but well planned .Good enough time to go around .(we don’t have a guide in ronda)) But we were given a map with point of things to see .Which is I think good for us as we decide what we want to see and stay more on certain areas that we like .
Our guide is very knowledgeable and has very clear enunciation thus it is easy to understand what he is saying .
