My husband, 15-year-old daughter, and I took the Lima Experiences Food Tour & Market Experience: 12 Peruvian Snacks today, and it was our very first food tour ever. We had such an amazing time! Arturo was an incredible guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with. We tried so many foods and drinks that I had never experienced before, and every single one was delicious. Visiting the market was one of the highlights! It felt like we were getting to experience real Peruvian daily life instead of just seeing tourist spots. We also loved that Arturo took us to places we never would have discovered on our own. Our group was small — just one other couple — so the whole experience felt personal and welcoming, almost like spending the day with family. If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate. Just book it! You will not regret it!

Our experience on the Street Food, Market & Old Eateries Tour in Lima’s Historic Center was absolutely outstanding—and a huge part of that was our guide, David. From the very start, David brought incredible energy, warmth, and knowledge to the tour. He wasn’t just guiding us from one food stop to the next—he truly brought Lima (and Peru as a whole) to life. We learned so much about the country’s history, the architecture of the historic center, and the culture and daily life of the Peruvian people, all while enjoying amazing food along the way. Some of our favorite bites were the incredibly fresh Peruvian fruit at the market, the most amazing churros (filled with rich caramel!), and the unforgettable tiger’s milk fish broth—which was unlike anything we’ve ever tried. One of the highlights was visiting the Central Market, which is somewhere we likely would have never ventured on our own. Having David there made all the difference—he helped us navigate it comfortably, introduced us to vendors, and explained what we were seeing in a way that made it feel authentic rather than overwhelming. Sitting in the middle of the market on a Saturday night in Lima, trying beef heart (it was really good!) is a moment I will never forget. The food was fantastic, but what made this tour truly special was the depth of the experience. It felt immersive, personal, and thoughtfully curated rather than just a checklist of places to eat. If you’re considering this tour, do it—and if you’re lucky enough to get David as your guide, you’re in for something really memorable.

Would highly recommend this tour, the food was fabulous and Arthur was an excellent guide. We learnt so much about the food and culture of Peru, in particular Lima. Ending the tour with a short walk around the artistic area was a perfect way to end the evening. We were a group of 11 which was the perfect size to get to know everyone over good food and drink. Arthur made sure that food and drink requirements were met at each restaurant without any fuss.

This tour was seamless and absolutely worth the 3:45 a.m. wake up. Communication leading up was excellent. We knew exactly where to be an when. Our tourguide, Renzo, spoke fluent English and switched between Spanish and English to translate everything without being asked! Most persons on the tour were Spanish speakers but he ensured we felt totally looped in. The same should be said of the individual attraction guides - they all said everything twice - first in Spanish then English, just excellent. The bus was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was light and inexpensive. The boat ride was so relaxing, food at the beautiful winery excellent and the dune buggy ride and sanboarding exillerating. Plenty stops at clean restroom facilities. A note for solo travellers - we had 2 and by the end of day you would have thought they came with friends. People can be so kind and friendly. 10/10 highly recommended.

Our family of four enjoyed every part of this class. Angelica lead our class (in English) and she was friendly and professional. If you are looking for a fun, quick activity to do in Lima, this is a good option. We were the only four in the class which made it even more fun and personable.

A fantastic way to experience the highlights of Lima. Our guide Klaudia and driver Eduardo we excellent. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. Klaudia, was a wealth of knowledge and made the tour very enjoyable, if you want a great experience then this the tour , thank you for a great day.

We had an excellent visit of the town of Lima with Alexander that brought us to the main sites. He gave us a lot of history from the past & present. We were amazed by the catacombes. We highly recommend this tour. Finally the driver drove us to Miraflores boardwalk where there is a nice parc, shopping mall and restaurants to eat perouvian food with a view on the océan. We enjoyed our tour to Lima, which included a one and a half hour walking tour of the historical center. Our tour guide was amazing and helped us navigate a very busy historical centre given it was a national holiday. There was so much more to see than I had imagined. Lima’s historic centre is quite grand with most of it accessible on a pedestrian path. It was New Year’s Day, and everyone was out celebrating. I think we would’ve been lost without a guide. The bus to and from the historic centre was comfortable, although some conflict arose about seat switching, which had nothing to do with the tour company, but some very arrogant tourists on board became extremely aggressive and antagonizing to all the Latino tourists on the bus. My children and I were quite shocked and everybody was very uncomfortable with their aggression. This is not reflection on the company. We were on the upper deck and the guides were on the main deck.
