What are people saying about Lima

Worth the long drive
We had a great day with the tour. The drive to Caral is long, taking about 3-4 hours each way, but the trip is worth it. The ruins have very few visitors. It’a a hidden gem in the desert that is rich in history. Our tour guide Johanna was wonderful. We never heard of Caral prior to booking this tour, but we are so glad we decided to go!

A fun and fulfilling day!
An all day event that will surely tire you out! Be prepared for a long journey in the bus. There are stops along the way, but we started at 5AM and ended at 10PM. If you book this event, I would recommend making sure you get a good sleep the night before and you are not doing anything too hectic the next day because it does take a lot out of you. The places we visited were pretty incredible! It really felt like each area was its own separate unit or island. There isn’t really much time during your stops to “shop” around so don’t expect to be able to purchase souvenirs at this time! They run a pretty strict schedule! Alvaro, our guide, was friendly and very clear with instructions. I would recommend this trip as it was lots of fun! If you get sea sick/motion sick, bring Dramamine! The ATV riding is very intense, tread carefully if it’s not typically your cup of tea. Wear sunscreen and a hat! Bring a bandana to cover your face and shades to protect your eyes from the sand.

A Must-Do in Peru
Absolutely incredible experience and the guides are so much fun and helpful and make time fly! Everything was organized really well and I feel like we got access to so many more parts of Peru that we wouldn't have on our own. Mar, Juancho and Michael (our driver) were the best! My only note of warning: it is a long, active, day. The guides will absolutely work with you and adjust to your preferred activity level but I would not recommend trying to do this right after flying into Peru.

Unforgettable Huacachina Trip
It’s awesome experience. Though it’s a long day trip (5am-midnight), it’s fun and comfortable. The bus has WiFi, phone charger, good leg space. Our guide, Aymeth, is great. She organized the big group so well. Paracas boat tour, vineyard lunch and wine tasting, Huacachina sand dune are very impressive. Dune buggy is the best. We had a wonderful day.

Lima’s central location in Peru makes it the ideal base for exploring the surrounding landscapes, comprising rugged coastlines, desert dunes, and snow-capped peaks. Lima day trips save you hours of planning by taking care of tickets, tours, and transport, so you can sit back and soak up the scenery rather than navigating public transport and struggling with a different language. Within day-tripping distance of the capital, you’ll find mystical stone forests, an acid-green desert oasis, and Pacific Ocean islands inhabited by sea lions.
