What are people saying about Lima

Class Act
Absolutely fantastic. My flight was delayed the day before so the organizers took it upon themselves to reschedule me to the next day without me having to lift a finger—and they knew I had to get to the airport right afterward and they even arranged a car for me and let me bring my luggage with me. Our tour guide was marvelous—knowledgeable, kind, and patient, and our driver was safe and excellent too. Bravo! Thank you for a great experience!

Melanie is the Best in Lima
Melanie was an amazing tour guide. She showed us the ins and outs of the city, and she introduced us to the best churro I’ve had in my entire life. She was able to answer some of the most random questions and made the tour feel so personal that I wish I could have had her with me throughout the rest of my trip.

Huacachina with Juancho!!!
Juancho’s energy was infectious, and he had an incredible ability to rally everyone and get people excited. He made every part of the trip feel special and filled with positive energy. He remained poised throughout the entire tour, making the experience feel seamless, engaging, and enjoyable from start to finish.

Highly recommend!
Melanie was an amazing guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about each place she led us to! I can’t say enough good things about this experience and Melanie as a guide! If you’re even questioning whether or not to take part in this tour, don’t think- just do!

Great experience!
The entire trip was awesome and well-organized. I highly recommend it. Just be aware that you need to walk about 10 minutes up the sand dune to get to the buggies and do the sand boarding. This could be challenging for anyone with slight mobility issues.

We had a good experience...
We had a good experience visiting Paracas and Ballestas island from Lima. Our guide, Raul, was very informative and helpful. Just some suggestion for people who plan to take this tour to prepare raincoat and maybe anti-motion sickness medication for speedboat traveling.

Great tour of Pachacamac
Tour had both a guide and driver each with the name Jose. Both of them were very professional. The guide Jose provided a detailed education of the people and history. I learned so much. He always asked if I had any questions and he promptly gave answers. He took pictures of me when I wanted them. I highly recommend this tour.

A perfect introduction to Lima!
The bike tour through Miraflores, Barranco, and up the Morro Solar was incredible. It was mostly relaxing, except for the push up the mountain, but that was challenging in a very good way. We were rewarded later with delicious ice cream! Our guide was Diego and he was very knowledgeable, patient, and all around lovely. I highly recommend this tour as a way to see these neighborhoods, learn a little about Lima, and get the blood flowing!

Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro with Sandy!
Sandy was waiting for us in the lobby of our hotel room and greeted us warmly. She was very knowledgeable as we stopped at each of the parks and sights on our list. The driver, Gherson, was also excellent. I would recommend this guided tour to anyone who is traveling to Lima for the first time.

Important Must See
Give yourself lots of time to read, learn and explore this important museum and don't skip the incredible warehouse, or Erotic Museum.
Exceptional opportunity and a must see for anyone who wants to learn about Peru from BC to modern times.
There was no lineup and only about 14-20 people total in the whole exhibits on a Thursday afternoon in early March.

Experience the first known civilization of the Americas
If you are coming to see Machu Picchu, add this to the list. A great opportunity to see a pre-Inka civilization. From 2800 BC, the pyramids and structures have amazing architecture and as well preserved. Johanna was an amazing guide with lots of information about history of Caral. The on-site facilities are impressive. An underappreciated archeological treasure the deserves more global attention.
