A wonderful trip of Ephesus !

We had a wonderful time visiting Ephesus and museum; and thanks to our tour guide Aysun. She is knowledgeable and a super nice lady. Aysun shared some gossips and stories about the Ephesus to us. This makes the whole tour even more interesting. The traditional Turkish grill at Lunch was delicious. Mercedes van is spacious and clean. It is a recommended trip! Great cruise excursion tour, learned a lot!

Wonderful tour with very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about history on this tour. Visiting the House of Mary, had a special, holy feeling. Ephesus was amazing. It is hard to imagine the history that took place here thousands of years ago. We visited a small village for a local lunch, that was great. We saw how rugs were made, saw some amazing tapestry that looked like paintings, the detail was incredible. Only thing we could have done without was a sales pitch to buy a rug at the end from the village. If you are in the market for a rug, it would be a great time to buy, just wasn’t for us. Overall, great tour. Would recommend this company and guide. Easy to find when leaving the ship, great communication from the company.

Ephesus in style.

This is hands down the best way to see the sites! Our guide Ugur Duman and driver were awesome! And having a private guide and van with waters and AC— perfection! Ugur was very knowledgeable and knew all of the amazing spots to show us! They listened to us when we said we were interested in shopping and the markets and took us to see a rug co-op and we saw the beautiful textiles being made. We also went to a market and sampled the most amazing Turkish delights, baklava, and pomegranate vinegar ever! We bought an extra suitcase just for the stuff we bought at the shops! Thank you for everything Ugur- what an awesome time!

Thankful we did this private tour

Wonderful day exploring, hitting the main historical sites. We included Terrace Houses and this should not be missed. The Van was large, clean and comfortable - almost like a limo the way the inside was set up (2 bench seats facing each other). Our guide (Genk) was interesting, personable and informative. So much depends on the guide and we had the pleasure of sharing the day with a great one. Driver was also very good. We saw many groups of 20, 30 or more and we were thankful we booked a private tour. Genk knew how to plan the visit to stay ahead of or away from the larger groups. We compared our price to those on our cruise ship (who booked a 30+ person bus tour) and the prices were practically the same, which is crazy. Go with the private tour (ask for Genk) and you will be happier than a big group.

Cem is a gem!

Cem (pronounced “gem”) was an excellent tour guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited Ephesus and toured the ancient city and terrace houses, which should not be missed! We added a stop at the House of the Virgin Mary, and Cem and the tour company were easy to work with in making the change to the itinerary. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis and had lunch and a rug tour which was fascinating! We would definitely highly recommend this tour and specifically Cem!

We really enjoyed going to the carpet making school & of course had to buy one too! Our driver and Adam were kind enough to take us to an extra place where we loaded up on Turkish delight. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip!
