The tour was organised very well from pick up to drop off. Although we didn't order the lunch, the ones that did order them said they were very good. The driver was good and kept us informed of the plans and timings. The tour itself was very informative and eye opening. It is hard to imagine the horrors, atrocities and experiences that took place less than 100 years ago! Emotions were high after the tour. Constructive criticism is that during the Berkenau part of the tour, it would be useful to have had the headsets and headphones to listen to the guide as we couldn't hear him very well and he was making a start with giving information without the whole group being present. But we have been informed that due to infrastructure, they are unable to accommodate this request at the moment. But to note: it did not take away from the experience. We felt that during the Auchwitz part of the tour, our tour guide, Lucasz, was very good with his knowledge, timing and keeping the group engaged, however, we did feel rushed by the group behind us as they were not waiting their turn to enter the same places we were in. He managed to work around this so that we could still understand the impact of the area we were in.

Incredibly moving. A must see so we never forget and never repeat this civilizational stain on humanity. Our tour guide was fantastic. It only was she extremely well informed, but I can’t imagine the emotional toll she must have to endure to repeat the stories every day for each group.

Really good day trip. We had Kacper as our guide and he was really good. Beautiful scenery in that part of Poland and the stops were all really worthwhile - I especially enjoyed the vodka before 11am! Good value for money and the organisation was really good - all the required passes and wristbands were provided. Beware. - there are loads of these trips advertised and not all include entry to the cable car and springs - book carefully. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested. Hope you get Kacper as your guide!

This experience was exceptional! The driver, Michael, was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The van ride was pleasant to Auschwitz. The guide, Kasia, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very memorable and efficient with the both sites. We highly recommend this tour!

A really memorable day out. The driver Piotr was very good and was very clear in all the necessary instructions. Firstly we visited the salt mine in Wieliczka. It is well organised so groups do not bump into each other. There was a lot of walking. The visit to Auschwitz - Birkenau was also well organised. Guide Gosia was excellent. Here too the groups were well organised so you never felt like the visit was crowded. Extremely memorable though very sad to see where so many people died. It is so important to have an excellent guide for this part of the excursion. We were very lucky. I would strongly recommend booking through Viator. They work with Krakow Direct.

An obviously emotional experience. 😢 The trip was extremely well organised with clear communication for pick up, timings and required ID. Marta was our knowledgeable guide at the museums, speaking excellent English and highlighting important facts as we waked. The first museum has headsets so easy to follow what the guide is saying. The second one doesn't so if you're hard of hearing it's difficult to hear everything as most of this is outdoors. There is an offer of packed lunch as there are minimal breaks, so no time for restaurants. You'll get a text/ WhatsApp message about this. You can take your own lunch but we highly recommend the one offered. Consisted of fresh baguette, fruit, drinks and other treats. There is a lot of walking over some uneven ground and up and down uneven steps. As described, much of the time is outdoors, so go prepared for the weather. From Krakow centre, it takes about one hour fifteen minutes to get to the first museum - something to think about if you've had a lot of tea or coffee before leaving. You can take photographs without using flash in most areas. Good value for money. 🙂

Our tour guide Yusef provides you with so much information before and during your trip. He also made sure to send pinned locations for meeting points and also offered other places he recommended to visit. He was an amazing tour guide ! The tour itself was incredible highly recommend

The mine was educational, artistic, and beautiful. All but approximately 10 steps were going down. The floors were not slick. However, it definitely is a lot of walking. The guide was very good. It was great getting picked up in front of our hotel. The driver was very nice.
