Iza was a kind and excellent driver and made sure everyone was safe and ready. Our guide was absolutely fantastic and it was a wonderful tour. We appreciate you all so much! Thank you!

A powerful experience bearing witness to a horror
Well organised from the time of first booking, to pick up on the day and drop off at the end of the vist. Communication was clear as the day of the visit approached. Be prepared for an early start. Our 8.30 am booking became a pick up time of 5.40 am. One advantage was that we were back in Krakow for lunchtime. The guide was very knowledgeable. The exhibits are confronting but it's important that we bear witness to the horror lest it is forgotten. Be prepared for a long and fast paced walk at Birkenau. The scale of the site is breathtaking.

A must see
If you are in Krakow, this historical site is a must. You can still feel the heaviness and the torture even 80 years later. Our driver was great and so was our guide at the concentration camps and the salt mine. Both are amazing to see but the salt mine gets to be too much especially after such a heavy visit. I would recommend both if possible.

100% recommend
Really good day trip. We had Kacper as our guide and he was really good. Beautiful scenery in that part of Poland and the stops were all really worthwhile - I especially enjoyed the vodka before 11am! Good value for money and the organisation was really good - all the required passes and wristbands were provided. Beware. - there are loads of these trips advertised and not all include entry to the cable car and springs - book carefully. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested. Hope you get Kacper as your guide!

Well-connected by road and public transport, Krakow is a perfect launch point for discovering other towns and cities in Poland. While you could set out on your own, booking an excursion that takes you around the country will help relieve the stress of planning. Day trips from Krakow include World War II-related sites—such as a former Nazi-operated concentration camp—and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed salt mine. It’s also possible to discover outstanding mountain scenery with a visit to the resort town of Zakopane in the Polish countryside, followed by a soak in the healing waters of a thermal bath complex.
