What are people saying about Istanbul

Exactly as promised
Our experience went exactly as promised. The directions on where to meet our pick up at the airport was easy to follow. We were escorted to the pick up area when our driver arrived. The driver communicated with our hotel and arranged a porter to take us on the final leg through a pedestrian only are.

Unique Private Experience
Highly recommend booking a private tour to explore Istanbul! Sila was the guide for my wife and I and she was fantastic! She was informative, personable, and went out of her way for to give great recommendations. Having her to skip the lines was also huge value add that we weren’t expecting.
We saw Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Museum, Basílica Cistern, and Grand Bazaar.
Highlights were going to a locals restaurant for lunch, private Turkish rug shop experience, and walking through all the shops to find the best deals.
We couldn’t recommend Sila or this tour enough!!

Perfect
My husband, 13 year-old son, and I met Nurten at the German Fountain for a fabulous half-day tour of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, and Grand Bazaar. Nurten was so friendly and easy to talk to! She took family photos for us at all of the sites. Along the way, we stopped for tea and treats at a cafe, and she pointed out places that we wouldn’t have otherwise noticed to have lunch and dinner all along our route for later on our trip. She had answers for all of our questions. After giving us a lot of helpful tips for shopping in the Grand Bazaar (including details around handbag shops, etc.) I feel ready to return and do some more shopping on my own. She even stayed on after our tour would naturally end and patiently taught us how to shop for carpets in one shop outside the market and helped us extricate ourselves gracefully when we were not ready to buy. She was funny and smart and never rushed us or directed us somewhere we did not want to go. A good guide can make a tour good or bad and we were so lucky to meet Nurten. Even my son loved the tour and our guide- which says a lot coming from a teenager who doesn’t love museums! Fully recommend!

Great way to see the sights
We really enjoyed our one-day tour with Çiçek. With Eid coming up, we wanted to see as much as we could in one day. She knew the timing and schedules for all the sites so that we could see each site at its best. And the guides can skip lines. Not to mention that they know the best spots to get pictures! She steered us to a wonderful place to get a snack when we were hungry and gave us recommendations for what will be open during Eid. Yes, she did take us to a carpet shop (I get the impression this is what the tourist companies do) but it was interesting and we didn’t feel any pressure to buy. In fact this store was very classy and if we’d known we’d be going to Istanbul I might have measured an area in my house because their carpets were gorgeous. I highly recommend her as a guide if you come.

Exceptional cruise on the Bosphorus
Wonderful boast cruise on the Bosphorous. Staff was friendly and attentive providing us snacks, drinks, and blankets. Tour guide was fantastic giving us with both historical information and lots of fun facts. We went on a somewhat chilly day but boat was so comfortable and warm. This tour was great value for the money. We highly recommend spending a relaxing afternoon on the Bosphorous on this cruise.

Very historical
The speaker was very well informed and gave plenty of historical information about the various sites we went past. The snacks were a wide variety and yummy too! Bring warm clothes! They had blankets for us, but I still recommend it's better to bring too much clothes. We went in early March and I wish I had brought warmer clothes. The views from inside are just as wonderful as from outside.

Excellent historical tour of Blue Mosque, Sultan’s palace and Grand Bazaar
Turns out it was just me on the tour. It was a wonderful day. My guide tailored the tour since we had some time and I got to see a pottery demonstration and a rug knotting demonstration. I learned about the way the tiles for the Sultan’s palace were made and saw some amazing Turkish carpets. The Blue Mosque is so beautiful and the tour of the Grand Bazaar was great. I really enjoyed and highly recommend this tour.

Ask for Leyla
Leyla was an absolute delight to have spend this tour with . She guided us in a way that we were ahead of the crowds . Her knowledge of Istanbul and its history was just amazing . She shared so much insight as we walked through the city . Where we went for lunch was such good food. She also was prompt in getting us back to the cruise ship terminal in time .
Sorry it took me a while to write this review

Naz was an excellent...
Naz was an excellent guide! She was well informed, very personable, and flexible to suit our needs. The car was amazing too - more of a limo bus, in fact! My only complaint was that the description didn’t say that the Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, so we had to skip that part of the tour. But Naz made up for it with other activities that suited everyone.

Best way to see the old city
Kenan was a fantastic guide, and we packed in a ton of siteseeing in a 10-hour day! He was knowledgeable about the city’s history, and we saw the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Hagia Sofia, the spice market, and more. We also had a wonderful lunch at a rooftop cafe. We highly recommend this tour, and please ask for Kenan. (Be aware that we walked about 15,000 steps, so might be too much for some.)

Highlights of Istanbul in a day
We saw the Blue Mosque, stopped for coffee.Topkapi Palace, which should not be missed stopped for coffee again then on to Hagia Sophia then lunch at a nice cafe then the basilica cistern an underground experience. Then on to the grand Bazaar. Somewhere in between we saw the serpents column and sultanalmet square. A well planned day with a wonderful guide Esra. She timed everything perfectly was extremely knowledgeable. She kept the pace at a level that was comfortable for us. She made the tour fun.

Worth it to ensure a safe and secure ride!
Overall great experience. My fiancé and I wanted to stay in Istanbul longer then TourIstanbul would stay in the city, so we booked to ensure a safe and secure ride. They were super easy to talk to, worked with us when we constantly changed our pick up time, and helped keep it low stress. And the car was comfortable and super clean. And the driver (it was so late I was half asleep and didn’t catch his name) was incredibly friendly and ensured a great experience!
