Must-do when you’re in Hoi An!
Getting up early is SO worth it! It’s pretty incredible how well they have been able to preserve the temples and continue restoring them. We had Lucky as our guide, and he was truly a sweetheart and so knowledgeable. You can tell he loves what he does. His family is from the area, so he was able to share family history that was both fascinating and sad. Aside from the sanctuary, my husband and I were able to chat with Lucky on the ride back about life! He made the whole experience amazing. If you’re able to request a guide, we highly recommend him :)

Amazing experience!!!
100% best experience we did in Vietnam. My partner and I did the trip from Hoi An to Hue. Our drivers, Mŷ and Win, were fantastic, knowledgeable, and spoke great English. We stopped at almost everything listed, but had to skip the beach because of timing. I’d recommend starting as early as possible to ensure you get to do everything. We started at 10 in the morning and finished right around sunset at 6. I’d recommend starting at 8 or even earlier. They even transported out big suit cases for us via a bus and put our smaller back packs on the back of the bus. TLDR; Highly recommend, super safe, food at restaurant was good too

Big day with Mr Bean
Thank you Mr Bean from England! This was a crazy day - huge crowds at the bridge (shoulder to shoulder), Mr Bean knows the best spots for photos. If you are on time you can get better photos on the way back down the hill. The buffet lunch was overwhelming with the amount of options. Skip the free beer so you can get more time looking at the park activities. Definitely need to tick this spot off the list but expect a LOT of people. And listen to Mr Bean’s advice!

Very good experience
We had a great experience with our driver, Huy, during our trip to Lady Buddha and Ba Na Hills in Da Nang. Both places qere very nice, specially French village. Huy was always on time, kept excellent communication with us, and was very understanding that we were traveling with two small children. What we appreciated most was how proactive and helpful he was. He quickly realized some regular paths would be difficult with our 2-year-old and stroller, so he guided us through easier routes and even helped carry the stroller when needed. Huy also explained the history of several spots we visited and gave us very useful local tips, acting not only as a driver but also as a guide. With the hot weather, he was always looking after our kids as well, even offering water to help keep them hydrated. His kindness and professionalism made our trip much more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended, especially for families!
