This is a must do in Hoi An and with this company! When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, some shade and a bottle of cold water 😅 Our two tour guides were an absolute laugh! They were engaging with the kids, singing to the music and didn’t get us stuck amongst the crowds! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

The Lantern making was a great experience. The guy running the class was patient and helpful. Loved our end result. Boat ride was entertaining and fun. Great service on all accounts. Driver was punctual and polite

We had a relaxing and scenic time exploring the coconut forest in Hoi An in one of the traditional round basket boats. Drifting through the peaceful water coconut palms felt like stepping into another world. Our guide was fantastic—she took tons of photos for us so we could just enjoy the moment. Along the way we even got to try catching little crabs hiding among the palms and watched an impressive fishing net casting demonstration. The highlight (and biggest laugh) was when the boat spun in circles—way more fun than expected! Definitely recommend if you’re visiting Hoi An and want something relaxing, scenic, and a little playful.

We had such a great experience on this coconut boat excursion! It was tucked away and the route wasn’t around too many people so we really got to enjoy the scenery.

We booked the coconut boat and the lantern making, travelling there by rented scooter. It was easy to find and we were welcomed warmly. Our boat rower/guide was extremely friendly and made sure that we took in all of the sights to maximise our experience and enjoyment, with a little bit of historical information about the war being shared too. The lantern making was great fun and our tutor was very kind and patient in his teaching. We now have a renewed understanding and respect for the lantern making process! Overall, we would highly recommend taking part in both activities and we enjoyed every minute of the experience which lasted around 2.5 hours and represented fantastic value for money.

We did the Hoi An Coconut Basket Boat Tour yesterday and I can honestly say I haven’t laughed or smiled that much in a long time! The entire experience was so fun and memorable. Our guide was fantastic—so friendly and accommodating, making sure we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and even try some fishing. It really made the experience feel special and personal. I would absolutely recommend this tour to my friends and family. Such a great way to enjoy Hoi An and create unforgettable memories!

We had a great time on the coconut boat - with a wonderful tour guide and great hospitality from the entire team. We went on for about 45-1 hour and went through the coconut trees, saw some people trying to catch fish and even tried to catch some small crabs. There were some professional photos taken by a camera which we were able to print off after our boat tour ended. The staff were lovely and the whole atmosphere of the tour was great.

We booked lantern making class and a boatride. The lantern class was excellent! Loved it. The guide helped our 8-year old, and he was så proud of the lantern afterwards. The boattrip was also nice, especially in the narrow part of the forest. In the big an wide area it was a bit noisy and themepark-like with big soundboxes an karaoke. But it seems like the people out there had a blast! Overall, we had a great time!

This is a great and fun experience in a basket boat. Our guide, Anh, was awesome fun. He didn’t speak a lot of English but enough to communicate and make it fun for both my wife and me. We paid for the optional boat spin which was a blast but dizzying so be prepared! We were very happy that we picked the earliest time to go as the river was getting super busy just as we were finishing

Got picked up and driven to location with care. Driver slowed down to allow pictures of rice fields and buffalo. Greeted and given bottle water. Mr Vu provided clear directions. Boat driver was strong elderly lady that help get the perfect photos. Perfect amount of time on water and umbrella provided when the sun broke out from the clouds.

Lovely experience from start to finish and very well organised. Car picks you up from your hotel, you get a detailed briefing and then dropped off back at your hotel. Ding as the coconut boat driver was fantastic, enthusiastic and happy whilst singing songs and taking lots of photos and videos! Highly recommend for a hassle free and fun experience

A MUST do in Hoi An

We took a Grab from Danang to Hoi An because it was more cost effective to book the tour without the hotel transfers. The driver left us at the main road and it was a five minute walk up to the business. Be mindful there are other similar businesses along that road. They provided bottled water and some time to rest, life vests, and hats. The english speaking guide explained the tour would be ~ an hour with two to a boat, watching local fishermen cast their fishing net, and an opportunity to catch crabs. We caught them and returned them to the water. Our boat operators were engaging, entertaining, and energetic (shoutout to Ding who remembered our names and made an effort to use them). They stopped to help take photos and offered to "spin" us (LOL, we declined). The weather was overcast but still very humid. It was an excellent experience and highly recommended.

Great Coconut Boat ride in Hoi An!!!

Picked up at our hotel at 8AM, shortvdrive to the river site. We were given a cold water and introduction to our coconut boat activities. Met our boat driver, Hung, and he took us on a 45 minute ride through the water coconut trees and village. We got to see the beautiful surroundings, for 100K, got to get in another boat and the driver spun me around for a few minutes. We watched a local casting a huge fishing net and on the way back we tried crab fishing from our boat. I almost caught one! Hung was AMAZING, and so FULL of ENERGY!!! Definitely got the BEST boat driver. Thank you for the great trip, Vietnamese language lesson, and for taking care of us!! Much love from Canada 🇨🇦

Package was not stated correctly

The package included Coffee/Tea and water as welcome drink. I was offered water but coffee /tea was not served even I asked for it. It is the only issue which I think should be corrected in the package, whether coffee/tea is included or not. I will not recommend it till the information of “what is included and what is not” is not made clear.

Unforgettable Boat Tour with the Kindest Guides!

We had an amazing experience doing the traditional boat tour at Green Coconut Village. From the moment we arrived at the LÀNG DỪA XANH restaurant, we were warmly welcomed with cold water and a nice fan to cool off — such a thoughtful touch. There were three of us (my husband, my daughter and I), and we went in two basket boats. The boat drivers were absolutely incredible — so friendly, cheerful, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. They stopped whenever we wanted to take photos, spun the boats for fun, let us try crab fishing, and were simply the sweetest people. This tour was definitely worth it. The scenery was beautiful, but what made it truly special were the amazing people who guided us. A memory we’ll always cherish!

We had a fun morning on the basket boats. Everything was explained really clearly with a quick briefing before hopping on. My husband and daughters paid extra for the boat spinning and they had a blast. My advice is to go super early to beat the heat!
