We had a wonderful experience on the evening food tour in Hoi An with Emma! She was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnamese cuisine and local culture. Emma took us to hidden gems and popular local spots we never would have found on our own, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. She explained each food’s background and ingredients in a way that made the experience even more meaningful.
What truly made the tour special was Emma’s enthusiasm and genuine care for her guests. She made everyone feel comfortable, answered all our questions, and shared great stories about life in Hoi An. Walking through the lantern-lit streets while enjoying amazing food was unforgettable. This was the second time I took this tour. Our guide was not as good this time around. Sadly the rain put a damper on some activities like bingo. It was fun but a little lackluster compared to the first time.

I really enjoyed this tour. You get to learn a lot about the old city of Hoi An, we even got to learn about the Chinese influence in the area. I enjoyed the bingo game at the end. I won a lantern. Our tour guide was very kind and explained so much about the culture in the history of Vietnam. I recommend anyone to do this tour

What a fun evening with our tour guide Jackie. She was a joy to be with on this tour. Her knowledge of the food, the places, people and the city was amazing. Not only were the food choices excellent but we also got to play a local "bingo" game and take a ride on a boat to release a lantern into the river. One of the best food tours we have taken (and we do many)!

I highly recommend this food tour! We ended up having a private tour with just my partner and I. Quin was our tour guide and she really made our experience enjoyable and educational on the foods and its background aswell as the Vietnamese language. It was a great introductory to Hoi An. The boat ride and Lantern experience was great and perfect amount of time on the river. I recommend doing at the start of your trip so you know the best places to go for the rest of your stay in Hoi an.

We had a fabulous tour with Jackie, she was super friendly and gave us a lot of insights into the traditional food we were eating and into daily life in Hoi An! A really easy walk between stops and some lovely routes down pretty alleyways we wouldn't have otherwise followed. Jackie's company regularly review the best spots to eat so you can rest assured that the food is delish and authentic. A number of the restaurants are open until they sell out for the day, so an early dinner makes sure you don't miss out. We were super full after having white rose dumplings and fried wonton at the original white rose restaurant (everywhere else reheats them), cao Lau, learned about balut eggs (wasn't brave enough to try), banh mi, banh xeo and spring roll, then Jackie's recommendation of a salt coffee (so good). The boat ride was easy to navigate in the chaos, and playing traditional bingo was heaps of fun - we can't wait to go back. Definitely recommend doing this early in your trip so you get to know the lay of the land. Thank you so much for making our visit to Hoi An so special Jackie! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Food walking tour was fantastic as was our guide. We were taken to places we would not have tried if not for this tour and advice from our guide. We returned to a couple of the places over following days. Suggest you do the door early in your trip as it will open up a lot more avenues (and laneways) to explore.

This tour was amazing! Emma is so fun and friendly! She is definitely relatable and knows her way around the town! Make sure you don’t eat anything before hand because makes the food tour worthwhile ! Overall I would recommend! Definitely planning to more tours with her in the future !

A very nice food tour that proved to be a great way of getting to know the local cuisine and its origins. A special shout out for the bingo game - that was fun! And the boat ride was beautiful too!
