Nguyễn Đức Kha was a great tour guide. We saw a lot of nature including monkeys. We learned a lot of history and culture!
Our tour guide Kha, helped us understand Vietnamese culture showed us around the caves, we could not go all the way and to all the caves because of our inability to climb all those steps.
Monkey Mountain was ok, the drive was nice. Lady Biddha site was very good.
Kha is a good, polite and helpful guide.
We had a fabulous day with Local Buddy Tours!! Sunny was an amazing guide, he knew so much about Vietnamese history, economics and culture, past, present and future!! Marble Mountain was such a magical place, there was something wonderful to see around every corner! We did the early tour, so we arrived before the crowds and had cooler temperatures! We were very lucky that our driver was eagle- eyed as he spotted monkeys on Monkey Mountain, the babies were so cute! Lady Buddha was amazing, the views over Da Nang were breathtaking!! We could not recommend Sunny and our driver, Chù, any higher, as they did a great job of showing us part of this amazing and wonderful country!!

★★★★★ A Brilliant Private Family Tour
We had a wonderful day on this private tour with our fantastic guide, Quynh, and our driver, Quang. They picked us up right on time, and everything was organised perfectly from beginning to end.
Our first stop was the Marble Mountains, where Quynh’s knowledge and explanations really brought the place to life. Having a personal guide made the visit much more meaningful and enjoyable. We then travelled to Monkey Mountain, where we took in the amazing views and captured some lovely family photographs.
The Lady Buddha statue was another highlight—an impressive and beautiful place to visit. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch, which was included in the tour.
The whole day passed incredibly quickly because my wife, daughter and I were having such a lovely time. Quynh was brilliant throughout: friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, while Quang made sure our journey was comfortable and smooth.
A truly memorable family experience. We would happily recommend this tour—and especially Quynh and Quang—to anyone visiting the area. Five stars!
Ben our guide was brilliant, spoke excellent English & we were well informed & educated by him. Highly recommend this private tour. We were fortunate to see the Red shanked douc monkey‘s & close up too.

Had a great time. Wonderful guides, Lanh, Lam, Phu. VIP treatment the whole time. Picked us up at hotel in the Jeep, and the Jeep ride made me smile so much, for so long, my face hurt. Lanh told us all the facts and history we wanted to know about the tour and Da Nang as well. Walked slowly for us older folks and gave us ample time to sightsee. Made it easy to enjoy the few flights of stairs in this humid weather. Lam drives very carefully and again, made us feel like special guests. Phu and the Jeep driving was a blast as well. He can spot a monkey in the trees at 30 yards while driving at 20mph. Took plenty of photos for us, sent them all to us before trip was done. Modified the tour per our request and I can honestly say I feel like I have buddies at Local Buddy Tours. Thanks team, you made a great day and memory for this 64 yo American male, Vietnamese wife and son. (Yes Lanh spoke in both English and Vietnamese for us)

We booked a July excursion to Monkey and Marble mountain, the view and the experience was absolutely excellent. Kha our guide was informative, kind and funny. He did a great job keeping us comfortable and giving us info throughout the trip. I would highly recommend!

Visiting Marble Mountain was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide shared fascinating insights into Vietnam's history, culture, and beliefs, and we learned so much more than we expected. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking.
We also visited Monkey Mountain, where we were lucky enough to see both common monkeys and the endangered red-shanked douc langurs in the trees. Our guide and driver were actively looking for the monkeys while driving, which showed how dedicated they were to giving us the best possible experience. The panoramic views from the top were stunning, and seeing the impressive Lady Buddha statue was another unforgettable highlight.
Another memorable stop was visiting a local family that has been creating beautiful marble sculptures for generations. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship and family heritage.
Throughout the day, we were constantly offered cold bottled water, which was greatly appreciated in the heat. Both our driver and guide were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The Vietnamese lunch was delicious, with generous portions and excellent value for money. We were so full that we only needed a very light dinner later that evening!
Overall, this was a perfect day. We came away with wonderful memories and a much deeper understanding of Vietnam's history, culture, and religion. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

This tour is a wonderful way to not only see the highlights of Danang but to also learn the cultural, political and economic history of Vietnam in a way that is both accessible yet family friendly for all ages.
Any great tour starts with a great guide and our guide Thanh was both friendly and knowledgeable about the wide range of questions we had about this area of Vietnam and the country as a whole. He also was curious about our background and viewpoint that made the tour feel like a conversation and not a one sided presentation.
The pickup at our hotel (which changed and was amended) was flawless as was our dropoff which was both later at night and at a different point than we had originally planned. That flexibility and being able to accommodate our needs is what really makes a private tour invaluable.
Tickets for all attractions are included and Thanh expertly offered any accommodations available including cold water in the AC vehicle and elevators based upon group fatigue annd exertion level. The driver Lam did minimal talking but showed his expertise by driving smoothly and efficiently through traffic and always being reedy to pick up and drop off at the most convenient points.
This tour is a whole day and you will see a lot with some longer stretches of driving so the vehicle quality and spaciousness is an important consideration and, again, this tour is top notch.

This is a fantastic experience..beautiful sites and great fun in the jeep...our drivers were great and we even got to drive the jeep a big thank you to our guide Phi Phi she was amazing, great personality and very knowledgeable..Phi Phi also made made it special and got a birthday cake to celebrate..this experience is worth your time and money
We had the most amazing experience with Ben and our two fantastic drivers, Michael and Quang. Marble mountain should not be missed, the caves are exceptionally beautiful, and the pagodas and temples are stunning. We were lucky enough to get incredible views of the Red Shanked Langurs on monkey mountain, and the cheeky macaque monkeys too! Our jeep tour of the peninsula was so much fun, we had a blast. Seeing Lady Buddha is also amazing. We highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful private half day trip with Quynh as our guide. She is a fantastic host and guide. Her English is great and she is so knowledgeable. She also arranged lunch for us which was absolutely delicious - We loved our experience and would recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Hanh and driver, Ha. Hanh had excellent English, great knowledge of the sights and history. Never felt rushed, very personable and attentive to any needs we might have along the way. Beautiful sights and even got to observe and watch the Red-shanked douc langur monkeys which was such a bonus! We highly recommend this tour itself but can’t help but feel it was so great because of our tour guide 🙂
We booked the small group tour with Jeep, with a 6am pickup, Quyhn was our guide and she was very helpful, bubbly and knowledgeable. Going early meant we got a great look at Marble Mountains before the heat of the day and before it got busy (which it can get very busy, as we saw when leaving). She also looks after all the ticketing and where to go/ what’s worth seeing. She also took some group photos of our group. Quang and Phu were our drivers, which was very smooth and great AC!
The jeep trip up monkey mountain was fun and I think I’d recommend this to anyone keen on something different, the lady Buddha statue was also amazing to see, set in beautiful gardens and of course seeing lots of monkeys! 10/10
We had a very informative and fun day out with Hannah and Lam. We visited Marble mountain, Monkey Mountain and Lady Buddha and Hannah’s history knowledge gave us a great insight into these areas. I highly recommend this tour business

Had a great tour with henry our tour guide took us to a cave wher a vietnam war battle took place as i love history was perfect for me ,also took the jeep to the big budda and forrest to see the monkeys saw plenty of them diving in the big pond he really looked after me mrs who struggles to walk after some health issues great tour book this tour and try get henry for your tour guide loves every minate of the tour spot on
Quynh was an amazing tour guide — 100% recommend her! She was informative, lovely to talk to, and really took the time to explain everything. I found the whole experience so enjoyable and would definitely do it again. We started at 7am, which I highly recommend because of the heat. We got to travel in an army jeep and then switched to a normal car for Marble Mountain — both were fantastic experiences, and both drivers (Phu and Tam) were lovely. They also made sure we stayed hydrated throughout the day, which was really appreciated in the heat.

Excellent tour, Hannah was our guide. Very good English, knowledgable, checked in on various walking options which was important for me with my 70yr old mum and 5yo daughter. Regular water stops. Jeep tour was fantastic and very fun, safe driver, no seatbelts on back seat however. Saw monkeys +++. Lunch at end was yummy, and sooo much of it. Only negative was being taken to a marble shop. Interesting for brief look but felt pressurised by shop staff, following us, asking us what we wanted to buy, not taking no/not interested. Would recommend skipping this stop

We had a fabulous time with our guide KHA and his drivers. This tour was well laid out. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and spoke good enough. Without this tour we would have not fully understood the culture behind marbel mountain, monkey mountain and the lady buddha statue. We would recommend this tour to anyone!

The whole experience is brilliant, the jeeps are fantastic. Monkey mountain was fascinating we saw the rare one while we were there. The lady Buddha is beautiful surrounded by gardens. Then marble mountain with the caves, wow, stunning highly recommend this trip. Tour guide was brilliant too.
