Wonderful Hiroshima
A great intro to the Peace Museum and the surrounding area. Saki was a terrific guide. We had a traditional lunch at the end on top of the tower overlooking the city. A perfect day!
Just a note….our taxi took us to the wrong meet up point but the tour communicated with us and we were able to catch them at the museum. Really appreciated that they didn’t give up on us!

A memorable experience
Our guide, Ms Rino, was exceptionally good. Anecdotes & her exuberance made the whole trip stand out. She participated in all the major spots visited during the trip. Her sketchbook with hand made sketches and notes showed her passion.
Mijamiya was serene, peaceful, full of life and in full cherry blossom bloom. Memorable trip with a combination of exotic food and shrine.
Hiroshima was a reminder of what human do to serene places. A numbing experience.

Mary, our Hiroshima guide, was the BEST!
Our guide, Mary, was open to anything we suggested. She answered every question we had. We ate our meal during our time together. She gave us several recommendations for our lunch & ours was delicious! We also purchased rice ice cream for dessert, it was not a fav of mine, but I didn’t know until I tried it. She has grown up in Hiroshima & shared so much insight & knowledge! Our private guide was worth every penny she earned! Vicki & Barbara

A customizable tour that was great for 2 older couples seeing the sights.
We are 2 couples in our 70's. We don't walk fast, we don't hear well, we are not adept at figuring out the buses in a strange town in a foreign language. So - a professional guide is a great help. Added to that is that we get to meet a local person and hear more about the area than we ever would traveling on our own. And the price, compared to a big HAL bus tour, is quite competitive.
We went to the garden - which was beautiful - and Kazuko explained the history and significance of the layout (like climbing Mt. Fuji and the survivor tree) - things I might never have known if I were on my own reading the signs. She then walked us to a bus stop with an incomprehensible to me schedule sign, and told us our bus would be there in 10 minutes, and it was.
We went to the Atomic Bomb Dome memorial and she walked us around there. She found a great place for the old folks (us) to rest and get some ice cream. She then led us through the museum, having prepped us about 3 special exhibits she highlighted. The museum had a bigger crush of people than we are used to, it was worse than visiting the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Kazuko guided us through the crush and showed us some key exhibits, and got us out of there in one piece. She was great.
She got us into a cab headed back to the correct dock for our ship. It made for a perfect day for us.
I'm sure younger folks could cover more ground. The tour can be customized to fit the fitness and ambition level of the group you are with.

Learning traditional Japanese archery was SO much fun!
We had an amazing time learning traditional Japanese archery! The instructors were very helpful and extremely clear. We were able to do a few practice shots and then did four sets of 8 arrows each. The hour was a perfect amount of time as the arms were getting tired by the end. Such a fun activity that we would highly recommend.

Amazing tour of Miyajima
We did this private tour with our guide Yuji. My wife and I have traveled extensively to several countries and Yuji was one the best guides that we have worked with. He gave us detailed information about Japan. He also showed us several hidden treasures of the island and took us to many spots with amazing views of the island. We covered a lot without feeling being rushed. We both really enjoyed our trip with him and would highly recommend him. If you plan to visit Miyajima, do ask for Yuji.

Outstanding Hiroshima walking food tour
I had an absolutely exceptional experience on the Hiroshima walking food tour with Magical Trip, guided by the wonderful Yuji. I’ve done dozens of tours around the world, and he is genuinely one of the top two guides I’ve ever had.
Yuji is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into Hiroshima’s history, culture, and the everyday life of people in Japan in a way that felt natural and personal rather than scripted. It felt like spending the evening with a very well-informed local friend.
I particularly enjoyed the culinary experience — every stop was thoughtfully selected, the food was delicious, and it gave me a true taste of Hiroshima’s local cuisine and food culture. The pacing of the tour was perfect, combining amazing flavors with meaningful stories and cultural context.
I would strongly recommend Magical Trip and Yuji to anyone visiting Hiroshima — this tour is an absolute must-do.

Hope from Shen around Hiroshima
It was a tour that included cycling out to the site of the Red Cross hospital that survived the a bomb and several spots in the epicentre of the blast zone that you might not notice yourself just walking around. Our guide, Shen, is the child of an in utero survivor. He shared stories of his youth and stories from his grampa and grama that were in Hiroshima when it happened. Depending where you stood, if there was a hill or concrete wall determined a lot. Shen provided stories of hope.

Ultimate way to see Hiroshima!
1000% recommend this tour! Levi was the ultimate guide! He took great care to educate our group prior to departing so that each stop had a greater significance than if we would have just arrived at them. His presentation style was very interactive, keeping all of us involved and focused. We walked away remembering so much of the tour and all that was discussed which isn’t always the case with tours! The biking was easy enough and we were able to cover a lot of ground. Book this tour!!!

Love this tour!
Loved this tour, we got to see a beautiful garden, gained knowledge about the Hiroshima bombing, and got an enjoyable taste of their local cuisine. Our tour guide, Minori was a wonderful and enjoys history. She was very informative and customized this tour to what we wanted to do. We definitely enjoyed our lunch as we asked her for her recommendations as a local of Hiroshima.

Miyajima and Itsukushima Jinja Shrine
Yoshiko did a great job showing us around Miyajima, including interesting history and hidden sites, food recommendations and about the shops. We toured the Itsukushima Jinja shrine where she provided interesting facts and showed us the best photo spots. Yoshiko was amiable and provided a great experience.

Excellent excursion
It was an awesome experience. The Peace Memorial is a must for every visitor to Japan. The Miyajima island is also not to be missed. Our guide Takane was very good in managing our group and provided all the necessary historical information needed to understand the sites we visited. Our bus driver, Mr. Yamamoto, made the trip even more memorable by making each one of us a paper crane and a paper shurikin ; it was such a sweet gesture!
