Aya was an excellent guide, and we so appreciated her showing us the history and beauty of her city and Miyajima Island. I could not recommend this tour enough to anyone looking to explore and learn about Hiroshima.

Miyuki was the sweetest & kindest tour guide. We enjoyed every minute of our tour with her. Her personal stories about Hiroshima made it even more touching. She’s truly a one of a kind human being. We absolutely loved her. Highly recommend this tour!! She had the day planned out so well. There was enough time to sightsee, take pictures and try some local foods. It’s a tour that can’t be missed!! She became like family by the time we were done w the tour. We didn’t want to leave :(. Definitely pick this tour for your Hiroshima n island experience

Great tour for someone who is pretty fit. There’s walking and stairs. We didn’t mind both because we walk daily as an exercise. Aki was a wonderful guide. She’s very knowledgeable of Hiroshima and Miyajima. She very considerate of my daughter’s allergies also. She brought us to an okonomiyaki place and we all fully ate it. Highy recommend for someone who doesn’t mind walking.

We appreciated his flexibility to change the itinerary to suit us due to a very hot day and our limited stamina. We are very grateful for all his assistance! From the moment we booked to the end of the Tour we received fast responses to our questions via email. We highly recommend this tour!

We had an absolutely wonderful day at Miyajima and the Atomic bomb dome and museum.
My family of six and I could not have asked for a better guide than Momoko. She was sweet and considerate and interacted with everyone in our group. My children enjoyed talking to her immensely. It is not an expectation or requirement but it was very helpful in our case that she spoke such fluent English.
We started our day taking a train and then a ferry to the beautiful island of Miyajima where we walked through the village to get to the Tori gate and the shrine (both of which were incredibly impressive). Then Momoko took us to some of the much less explored and crowded shrines and sites around the area and we were very glad she did. Later we walked through the streets after the village and grabbed food and snacks on our way back to the ferry. Overall, the island was absolutely gorgeous and memorable for us all.
Afterwards, we traveled by trolley car to the Atomic bomb dome and walked through the sites around it on our way to the museum. The whole atmosphere is very somber and sobering and the museum is not to be missed- a definite must if you are spending even one day in Hiroshima. Again we were very appreciative of Momoko for taking the time to show us things that we felt many people missed and even went above and beyond to ensure we got back to our trolley station near where we were staying.
If I didn't state it enough earlier, my family and I can't recommend this tour enough. We will remember it forever and are so appreciative to the company and our guide Momoko for making it all happen so seamlessly!

We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Dobara is a very sweet, kind and patient gentleman. He did his best to explain in detail the history of each visited site. He works very hard. A good tour to undertake if you come to Hiroshima.

My 21 year old son and I had a wonderful day in Hiroshima and this was largely due to Miyuki our guide. Miyuki was very knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful place and made us feel so comfortable from the moment we met her. We got a little lost and were a few minutes late to start the tour and thankfully she waited for us to begin our day!! Such a beautiful place and very grateful for such a wonderful guide. Would definitely recommend this tour and Miyuki.

We had a lovely day exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima with our knowledgeable and fun guide Aya. We saw the museum, the memorial park and went to the magical island Miyajima. Aya was a perfect guide giving us a lot of tips on where to go, what food to get for a nice picnic and told us about her own connection to the bombing. It was a lovely day and Aya also kindly sent us photos of the day.

Our tour guide Mr. Masahiko Joguchi (Joe) planned the walking tour meticulously. He was proactive to create a detailed itinerary prior to the tour day and meet us at Hiroshima station. Due to change in weather conditions he even adjusted the schedules accordingly. We went to Miyajima island first and then to Hiroshima memorial, where we had an immersive experience of history, culture and the beauty of Japan. Joe was polite, accommodating and has deep knowledge of Japanese history and culture while taking us through each places in the itinerary. We used the Ferry, Metro and Trams as our various modes of transport during the guided tour. Another highlight was the food and shopping experience that were planned as part of the tour. Overall it was a memorable day well spent under the guided tour of Mr. Masahiko Joguchi. We recommend him and this private guided tour to anyone visiting Hiroshima/Miyajami.

Hiroshima was our last stop during our Japan visit and I can't stress enough that how much we loved this city and it is a must do for everyone if traveling to Japan. Hiroshima is a beautiful city and visiting the memorial is a must. Every human being should see this place to appreciate life and support peace. Our tour guide was Hiro and she was an amazing person. Hiro is very informative and knowledgeable person, she is very friendly and kind, she made our trip and the tour very easy and fun. She had a very nice organized itinerary and also made it based on our personal preference. Thank you

Mei, our guide was GREAT! She adapted our tour to accommodate our travel schedule and priorities for the day. She found a fabulous location for lunch that allowed us to see "Japanese pancakes" being made in front of us...something we wanted to do but did not think we would have time. She shared historical and cultural information.
The tour itself is a 5 star however, the communication prior to the tour was not.

Our guide Kiyoshi was prompt had an itinery for us and had the day fully mapped out. He was very polite and although we had a little trouble understanding we managed fine. He was very knowledgeable and took us to some wonderful places even though the weather was against us we really enjoyed ourselves.could not rate highly enough.

WE had a great day with Miyuki san! She is sweet and kind! WE enjoyed our walking tour so much that the day went by fast! WE learned so much about the history and traditions of Hiroshima. Hiroshima Okonomiyaki and the maple leaf treats from Miyajima Island were oishii!

We had a wonderful full day tour with Joguchi (Joe). He provided a very informative tour of the Peace Park and the museum. We then had a delicious okonomiyaki lunch overlooking Hiroshima bay. Our visit to Miyajima was beautiful, and Joe even treated us to traditional maple leaf cakes. At the end of the day, he went out of his way to take us to a Japanese garden that was illuminated after dark to show off the wonderful fall colors. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect day in Hiroshima, we highly recommend this tour!

Miyuki was a wonderful guide. She is very engaging with both my 18 yr old daughter and myself. She is knowledgable of the places she took us. We thoroughly enjoyed this guided tour with her. I have to say she is the best tour guide I have ever had, among tour guides all over the world. And, her English is superb (having been an English major in college and her having taught English. Definitely and highly recommend her.
