Hiroshima Museum, Peace Park and Walking Tour
We weren't sure how big the tour group would be and were so amazed when we were the only people! We had a private tour with Hiki. His family was directly affected by the bomb at Hiroshima so had an unique insight into the impact of that time period. He was wonderful with his explanations of the importance of the places and sights that we say but also gave us time and space to go at our own pace in the museum areas. We went up a tower and made paper cranes and let them fly down into a viewing area. Was really powerful to see. Had a delicious lunch at the end of the tour. Highly recommend.

They made the most of our short visit
First of all, our deepest thanks to our tour guide Akie. She really made the most of our time, and was so efficient getting us from place to place. She provided us ample time when we wanted, and also let us know the right time to hurry (ferry schedules). Tour was adaptable, and we were able to stay ahead of the large tour groups from the cruise ship. Got to see all the key sites if the city, as well as Miyajima

Great Hiroshima and Miyajima tour!!
We had an incredible experience with our tour guide, Tomo. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights into the history and cultural significance of Miyajima Island as well as Hiroshima. Her passion for the area really brought each site to life and made the experience so much more meaningful.
Tomo was also very thoughtful and made sure our day was enjoyable and well-paced. One of the highlights was the delicious okonomiyaki lunch she took us to—easily one of the best meals we had on our trip!
If you’re looking for a guide who is informative, engaging, and genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience, we highly recommend Tomo.

Outstanding Hiroshima walking food tour
I had an absolutely exceptional experience on the Hiroshima walking food tour with Magical Trip, guided by the wonderful Yuji. I’ve done dozens of tours around the world, and he is genuinely one of the top two guides I’ve ever had.
Yuji is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into Hiroshima’s history, culture, and the everyday life of people in Japan in a way that felt natural and personal rather than scripted. It felt like spending the evening with a very well-informed local friend.
I particularly enjoyed the culinary experience — every stop was thoughtfully selected, the food was delicious, and it gave me a true taste of Hiroshima’s local cuisine and food culture. The pacing of the tour was perfect, combining amazing flavors with meaningful stories and cultural context.
I would strongly recommend Magical Trip and Yuji to anyone visiting Hiroshima — this tour is an absolute must-do.

Hope from Shen around Hiroshima
It was a tour that included cycling out to the site of the Red Cross hospital that survived the a bomb and several spots in the epicentre of the blast zone that you might not notice yourself just walking around. Our guide, Shen, is the child of an in utero survivor. He shared stories of his youth and stories from his grampa and grama that were in Hiroshima when it happened. Depending where you stood, if there was a hill or concrete wall determined a lot. Shen provided stories of hope.

Ultimate way to see Hiroshima!
1000% recommend this tour! Levi was the ultimate guide! He took great care to educate our group prior to departing so that each stop had a greater significance than if we would have just arrived at them. His presentation style was very interactive, keeping all of us involved and focused. We walked away remembering so much of the tour and all that was discussed which isn’t always the case with tours! The biking was easy enough and we were able to cover a lot of ground. Book this tour!!!

Love this tour!
Loved this tour, we got to see a beautiful garden, gained knowledge about the Hiroshima bombing, and got an enjoyable taste of their local cuisine. Our tour guide, Minori was a wonderful and enjoys history. She was very informative and customized this tour to what we wanted to do. We definitely enjoyed our lunch as we asked her for her recommendations as a local of Hiroshima.

Unforgettable Tour
UG provides a memorable experience that we will cherish forever. It was a wonderful day trip: informative, inspiring, and engaging. He not only educated us and made sure all details were taken care of but he also was a really fun person with great stories and a great respect for the beautiful island of Miyajima. Cannot recommend enough!

5* Guide and WONDERFUL experience!
We were so grateful for Masahiko and really enjoyed this tour. From start to finish, he organized everything beautifully, communicated rapidly and professionally, and made the day everything we'd hoped. He also has such an authentic working knowledge and lived experience with the sites and areas on the tour, that it made everything all the more meaningful.

Thought provoking and uplifting
Our day in Hiroshima was very enjoyable. We met our lovely and knowledgable tour guide Mayumi who greeted us at the Hiroshima train station. Our family of 5 had a private tour and we added the castle and surrounding market/shrine area to the existing itinerary. There was plenty of walking and the hop on/hop off bus made transit easy. Our tour ended up a 5 hour tour, instead of the proposed 4 hours. We could have spent much longer at the museum/final stop. It was a thought provoking and informative day. Mayumi answered so many questions we had and we will never forget our memorable day. We highly recommend the tour.

Wonderful instructors, wonderful expereience!
Such a fantastic experience! The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, which made the learning curve feel easy and enjoyable. Wearing the outfit was so much fun, and we got to shoot plenty of arrows. I’d highly recommend this to anyone curious about trying a new style of archery!

Miyajima and Itsukushima Jinja Shrine
Yoshiko did a great job showing us around Miyajima, including interesting history and hidden sites, food recommendations and about the shops. We toured the Itsukushima Jinja shrine where she provided interesting facts and showed us the best photo spots. Yoshiko was amiable and provided a great experience.
