At Snorkel with Turtles Hawaii, we are one of the ONLY tour operators that gets you away from the crowded Waikiki snorkelers and in the water with NO MORE THAN 1 OTHER SNORKEL BOAT any given day for miles. Our shop is a quick 15-minute ride out to Hawaii Kai Marina, on the South East Corner of Oahu, and operates in the scenic Muanalua Bay. As nearly every other snorkel charter brings you to the same location outside of Waikiki, we go to sites where only another 1 or two operators frequent. The majority (95% of Oahu’s snorkel charters) go to the same place with 10-20 other boats and as many as 100 or more other snorkelers surrounding you, boats and snorkelers are the only thing you are guaranteed to see. We want you to experience the wildlife and natural beauty of our oceans, so we stay away from the crowds!

Our tours are for families or small groups that want to get away from the crowds and experience first class service out on the water. We limit our group sizes to 6 passengers in order to provide one on one instruction, assistance, and service throughout your tour.

Snorkel instruction and a guided snorkel tour by our marine naturalist where you will see dolphins, tropical fish, and more within one morning is a great addition to your vacation activities! You and a small group of experienced divers will explore one of Hawaii’s top diving spots, Ni’hau, with an expert crew on a super-fast boat. This means less time getting to and from Ni’hau and more time underwater. Each group does two dives, with a pro helping to spot marine life like sandbar sharks, Hawaiian monk seals, and butterfly fish. Break between dives for lunch at Lehua Crater as you search for seabirds, manta rays, and dolphins.

We genuinely love our job and getting to share the ocean with visitors. We make sure our guests have fun while teaching them how to navigate the Pacific waters. The guides will point out various sea creatures, letting guests hold them if possible and giving various facts about what we see or things we are looking for!
