Hanoi City tour is a must do

A definite must! Hanoi is a large city with a rich history, this tour is a must do. My guide, James, and our driver safely got me everywhere. In fact the navigation was an attraction all in itself and I don’t think I would’ve seen a fraction of the sights on my own. James was so knowledgeable, answering all my questions and filling me in on history and folklore alike. He’s even a foodie stopping at a couple of places that I had an amazing breakfast and of course a cream coffee I’m dreaming about even as I write this. Do yourself a favor and spend part of your day on this tour, you won’t regret it!

Excellent day trip to Ninh Binh

Brilliant day trip to Ninh Binh with tour leader Binh and driver Mr Ha. They ensured our safety, comfort and enjoyment throughout the day. A well paced day that included trekking, cycling , lunch and a boat trip, thoughtfully organised and adapted timings due to the hot weather conditions so we walked in the cooler part of the day. Binh shared so much information about the area and the history of Vietnam- thank you to both Binh and Mr Ha.

Not to be missed!

What an incredible tour! From the most delicious food at the hidden gem, to our amazing guide Bao and driver, Hai who navigated us safely through the bustling streets - the day was just superb. We learnt the most amazing facts about the Vietnamese culture and history of Hanoi and got to see the back streets and experience daily life. A very relaxing trip

Hanoi's Old Quarter has restrictions on where buses can go so the guide picked us up from the hotel and guided us through a short 2mins walk to where the bus was waiting. The guide provided a lot of info on the way to the bay. There was a stop at the perl farm, very educational. It's up to you if you wanted to buy any pearls, there was no pressure whatsoever. Once we boarded the catamaran, it was a very good mix of activities and relaxation with amazing food. You can either stay in an airconditioned room or go outside upstairs for better views, drinks and jacuzzi. The included lunch was a six course set menu, quite yummy and filling. Plenty of drinks options (both alcoholic and not) are available for purchase. Activities included a short 30mins boat ride through a cave (or if you are brave and don't mind rowing in 35C heat - two-seat kayak instead of a boat), swimming at the back of the catamaran and a class of making rice paper rolls (with an impressive demo of chef's skills to cut various shapes our of vegetables!). No pressure to participate in either and if you want to just relax - you could just stay in the room the whole time and enjoy the views.

Memorable day in Ninh Binh

Loved our whole experience and it was a day well spent! Oggy and Uncle D are exceptional and went out of their way to make our day easy and comfortable. We were travelling with a 3 year old and were worried it would be difficult with the temple hike and busy day. But Oggy was very helpful in keeping her engaged and going. They were also able to accommodate our vegan food request which was very helpful. Overall highly recommend this trip for a memorable day.

Ninh Binh tour is beautiful and active.

We got picked up in a nice luxury bus. We then went to Ninh Binh where we first rode bikes for 2 km. Stopped at a temple in the ancient capital and then had a buffet lunch. After we went to ride a 1 hour boat ride on the river through the caves and mountains. We finished things up by going on a hike up one of the mountains. Lots of movement and lots of opportunities for neat experiences! Our tour guide Hai Dang was very helpful and informative!

Fantastic experience with...

Fantastic experience with heritage travel. The tour was well-organized, and with the timing and order of activities, we were able to avoid most of the crowds! Really enjoyed kayaking and the optional speedboat excursion (extra fee). Mike was our tour guide and he was excellent, very informative and funny!

Arrival in Hanoi

Someone met me with my name on a sign as I was walking towards immigrationion. He steered me towards the far entry gate and I walked right up to the Officer. I showed him my passport & visa, got the stamp of approval and passed thru... It probably would have taken an hour to have taken the regular line as lots of other planes seemed to arrive at the same time. And It was after 10pm. Fortunately I just had carry on luggage. Though the pick-up guy would have assisted with that step as well. We then proceeded to the taxi office where another guy took over and got ahold of my ride.... after being completely worn out by having just flown nearly 24 hours between air time and layovers it was nice to have this last leg of the trip be quiet seamless. The taxi driver spoke pretty good English too. If you are in a rush or just want to get to a shower and in bed at your hotel this was a good purchase.

Lots to see

Our guide Tom and the driver really looked after us all day, we were collected from our cruise ship on time , in an air conditioned comfortable car. We saw so many different interesting attractions during our day, Tom was very knowledgeable about them all. One stop was for an Egg Coffee, really creamy, a must do! The included lunch was lovely, the restaurant and staff really nice. The mad traffic is an experience like no other, both fab and mad, our driver did a great job. Thank you Tom we had a really great day spending just the right amount of time at each attraction.

Definitely worth it!

What a great excursion! We had a great tour guide for Ninh Binh. Our accommodations that evening were very nice. The cruise ship and accommodations were spectacular. Just wish we could have fit in an extra night! Food was great and the service was exceptional. They helped us book a ride directly to the airport and their communication was top notch. Highly recommend
