Excellent tour with lots of activities and amazing views of Halong Bay. Cruise was enjoyable and the crew was great. Definitely worth to pay a little extra for the speed boat experience! Hien is also a great tour guide and very accommodating

The tour started very early, which was fine, but also seem very unorganized the tour guide barely spoke English. It was a rainy day, which no one can help. He took it to temple that was fine but the organization of how he did, the day was weird instead of taking us to the climb of the mountain 1st then to the boat ride then to the temple, he took us to the temple spent way too much time there then to the boat ride, which had a 3+ hour line then to the hike. At that point, I’ve been raining all day and completely dark so it was kind of dangerous to hike up the hill. Also, it had no views at that point. We honestly couldn’t understand a word he was saying half the time.

The tour was good, visiting the Pagoda the temples and all those budhas was absolutely beautiful, only downside is the main picture of the Tour is misleading because you expect to visit the tower ( Báo Thiên Stupa ) THEY DO NOT TAKE YOU THERE, so that was disappointing.. Lunch was delicious The river boat ride was the highlight of the tour, very beautiful scenery. The climbing of the mountain was beautiful and the view… Overall a good experience The guide is a star ALEX 10/10 great english and very informative…

Mass tourism at it's finest

If you enjoy mass tourism, this trip is for you. It feels like every single tour follows the same itinerary at the same time, which can make the experience feel a bit crowded, overwhelming, and less personalised. The landscape is beautiful but not worth the hustle, in my opinion. However, the tour guide and bus driver were super nice and friendly, which added a positive touch to the trip. Overall, if you don't mind the crowds, the beautiful scenery of Ninh Binh and the warm service make it worth considering.

What an incredible place--this was the highlight of our trip. We especially enjoyed Vuong (Alex), and will ask for him again whenever we return to Hanoi. Incredible scenery, great food. Bring sunscreen or a hat, and comfortable clothes and shoes to explore and walk a lot.

An Energy Draining Experience

Considering that the description included seeing the Pagoda, it was disappointing that we never got close to it. We did see other temples, which were beautiful, but, alas, the Pagoda could only be seen in the far distance. Whether by bad luck or not, the whole day's outing was overwhelmed by the incredible size of the crowds. It was shocking, especially during the time of our boat ride. It was truly "bonkers!" The boat ride surroundings were truly magnificent, but tainted by the craziness of the numbers of the crowds. Finally, our hike up a hill to see the view was very restricted due to the time allotted to ascend and descend for what was pretty steep climb, and then to fit it in at the end of the day when dusk was already settling. Many opted not to make the climb due to these considerations. It was definitely a unique experience but not one that I would recommend.
