What are people saying about Hanoi

Super fun quick trip through Hanoi
This was a great short trip through Hanoi, very easy to fit into a crowded travel schedule, educational and lots of fun. Our guide was informative with excellent communication skills and our driver also had mad skills getting through tiny congested alleys in the jeep! We didn't have time for the longer 4 hours tour but if we're back in Hanoi will definitely do that.

best tour!
Hieu is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had! This tour was the best of the best. Everyone in our group had so many different needs and he tended to all of them. When one person was dying of heat, he personally checked on her to make sure she was okay. Hieu then called the driver to make sure the AC was on. When people didn’t want to walk the steps to the Mua view, he arranged for massages for them! By the end, he knew everyone’s names and arranged the boat ride seating so that we’d all have people we could connect with.
He is incredibly knowledgeable and personal. Hieu has an amazing sense of humor and his jokes made the tour so fun. We went to Ninh Binh with Hieu and were planning to leave northern vietnam afterward, but if we had more time, we’d definitely book Hieu again.

Great experience
This was our first time in Halong Bay. We didn't know what to expect yet this was a great experience to get to know the rich history of Halong Bay and the places we visited. Our favorite spot was the Ti Top peak, which gave a 360 view of the peaks meeting the water and the horizon.
Hieu was very accommodating to our needs, including meeting us at our hotel, which was slightly outside of the Old Quarters. He was early and very friendly with our party. He was also very patient with the people in our group as we had some individuals that were a little complex.
Thank you for the great experience and an awesome adventure!

You have to book this tour.
I cannot recommend this trip enough. It was amazing.
You’ll see a lot of ai reviews on these tours but as someone that jumps right to the negative reviews i hope you take the time to read this one.
Been on countless excursions for snorkeling and this one was memorable.
Small group, 10 of us, picked us up from our hotel and great communication that they’d run a few minutes late and had tons of info to give us before hand on what to bring, wear, eat etc.
Super organized and as 3 be try stupid teens travelling their instructions in full english were so clear and for how many vietnamese people i’ve tried to talk to in english these guys really have been practising.
Not only that, but when we got on the bus they were making super funny jokes and were so friendly and just easy to be around instead of stressed and rushed.
They were so polite with us young ladies and were helping us everywhere we go (were fairly clumsy as a group)
We got to the boat they helped us on gave us life vests and such careful instructions their detail on the safety was so good.
I’m a big animal and wildlife girl so the way they were so kind about protecting the reefs and making sure everyone knew how to swim properly to avoid damaging the reef and wildlife was amazing. They did a mini snorkel swim lesson before our first stop in a shallow beach which a lot of the travellers definitely needed.
When we got to the reefs instead of being in huge groups where it’s a free for all they split us up into smaller groups and had a guide stay in the water nearby us and lead us to good areas. Quiet spots where there were no huge crowds in site like a lot of these other tours get badly rated on.
Genuinely such a sweet group of guys running it and they seem like all such close friends it was really cute.
As well the reefs they brought us to were secluded, gorgeous and sooo many fish.
You can choose to wear a life vest or not but i recommend wearing so you don’t get tired of swimming. They also bring tons of water bottles for you to have as many as you want!
When we got to the island to eat and rest at the end the fruit was super fresh and lots of drinks to choose from as well that they offer 1 free included.
Thank you guys so much for a lovely trip we would 100% book again. If you’re looking for smaller group, still so much fun and lots of fish this is the one for you. Love from Leilani, Melisa and Charli ❤️❤️

Excellent tour
Outstanding day from beginning to end—truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Ninh Bình is absolutely a must-do while visiting Hanoi.
The day started with a smooth and punctual hotel pickup, and everything was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. The itinerary flowed seamlessly, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Our tour guide, Hana, was outstanding—professional, organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. She made the day both informative and fun, and her passion for the region really enhanced the experience. She was assisted by Happy, who is currently training as a tour guide, and he was wonderful as well—friendly, helpful, and clearly very promising.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi who wants an unforgettable day trip. A truly exceptional experience.

Would recommend!
Our trip was great! Our guide Johnny was very knowledgable and attentive for the 7 hour excursion. Easy to find him at the cruise ship port, and quick loading on to the boat. We had 18 passengers, and could have had room for at least 30, so lots of space, which was nice. Clean, available bathrooms. Soda, beer, water available for sale ($1-2 USD), and you do get 1 free with lunch. The itinerary was different than what was on Viator, but it all ended up being great. Went to an oyster & pearl farm, Sung Set Cave, then had lunch (so much food! A set menu, and it just kept coming. After lunch, we visited Luon Cave - we had options to take a bamboo boat (included), kayak (included) or speedboat (~$17 USD), and we had enough time to do 2 of the 3! Finally, we also stopped at Titov Isle - has a viewpoint with about 450 steps, which I didn't do, but we had enough time here to allow that. We stayed at the beach/shops area, which was pretty small. Swimming was allowed, but again, it was very small, so we didn't go in. Johnny was a great guide and the boat crew were wonderful! Great way to see the cool bay area.

Lovely time
Our tour guide Pam/Pang was friendly, informative and so kind. We really appreciated her taking so much time answer all our questions and guiding us through the terrain at our pace.
Our home stay did not have a/c. Although there was a fan we could not endure the heat so we walked across the street and booked a hotel.
We had a lovely visit and would recommend this tour.

Best way to see Hanoi
This is an amazing tour, a great way to see Hanoi. It shows all the best bits with wonderful local knowledge. We had Tu as our guide and I can’t recommend him enough, he was so knowledgeable, friendly, funny and made us feel welcome. Special mention also to the driver Mr V (ex military) who always found parking spots nearby and managed to negotiate the chaotic traffic in Hanoi City. If you only do one tour in Hanoi then do this one, as it was memorable, educational and fun to spend time with Tu

Ha Long Bay Day Trip
Lovely trip & well executed. The boat was a good size for our small group & also very comfortable. Lunch on the boat was also good. Cruising through the bay was beautiful. Amazing to see all the rock formations. The drive to Ha Long bay was long though.

Ask for Vincent! A Fantastic Day in Halong Bay
"I had an amazing day tour with Diamond Era Cruise. Everything was incredibly well-organized from the pickup to the activities. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Vincent, who was friendly, professional, and kept everything running smoothly. If you only have one day for Halong Bay, this is the way to do it!"
Special thanks to entire crew members

Wonderdul Cozy trip to Ha Long Bay but can get crowded.
The cruise was wonderful. The boat and crew ensured our every need was met. They fed us so well, we couldn't finish our plates most of the time...We really appreciated how they inquired and considered our dietary needs(wife and daughter are celiac). They kept us busy with activities like visiting Titop Island(too many tourists), a hike to a cave(also super busy), and an evening spring roll making which was great. The next day we went kayaking and checked out a pearl farm, which was pretty interesting. Overall, it was an active 2 day trip with plenty of time for relaxing. Thank you Cozy Tours!

A must do activity when in Vietnam!
This might be a long review because I want it to have all the information I was looking for when we booked a 5* star inclusive Halong cruise. Firstly our hotel was well out of the pick up area so we decided that we would meet the bus in the old quarter. Once our booking had been confirmed the guide contacted me and offered to pick us up from our hotel, I was happily surprised at this as it was going to save us from getting a grab into the pickup area. The bus that picked us up was fantastic! It was the first limousine bus I have been on and it set the bar high for any future buses. We were given bottled water and the seats had a massage function, we stopped half way for a 20 minute break where we could buy food, drinks and souvenirs as well as go to the toilet.
Once we arrived at the dock we were met by a lovely guide who took us to a separate waiting area with a little coffee shop. The FeFe coffee was delicious! When is was time a guide came to collect us and took us to the boat. Once on board our beautiful boat we all sat is our assigned seat that were designated using flags of our nationality and given a short safety brief. After the brief we were issued our room keys and had about 20 minutes to explore the boat before we were served a buffet lunch. After lunch we went to visit the Sung Sot Cave and then Ti Top Island, both were beautiful but there were a lot of stairs to climb! We spent an hour at each stop before returning to the ship with enough time for a quick shower and a spring roll making lesson before dinner. Dinner was enormous! There was so much food and it was all delicious, we were shown the menus before dinner to confirm that we didn’t have any allergies but I was still surprised that there was so much food. Finally we had the opportunity to try squid fishing before bed, we were unsuccessful but it was great fun.
The following morning we awoke to beautiful views of Halong Bay before breakfast. We then went on our final excursion to another small cave where guests had the option to kayak or catch a bamboo boat to explore the area. Monkeys came down from the top of the mountains to check out the guests which was a welcome surprise. After an hour we returned to the ship, where we had time to pack up, check out of our room and settle any bills that we had. Once we were all sorted we then had brunch in the dining room before disembarking. The return transfer was just as good as the first one and we had a comfortable drive back to Hanoi with the seat massager going the entire journey!
I highly recommend this tour! We couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The staff were all amazing although Kelvin was the highlight! He managed to connect with all of the passengers and always had time to answer questions and make everyone feel welcomed and heard!
