A beautiful view!

Our guide, Pedro, was wonderful and enthusiastic in sharing the histories of Halifax and Peggy's Cove during the driven part of the tour. Upon arrival, to the cove, we were given one hour to freely roam and explore the town, light house, and the rocky beach. Something about the sunset enhances the beauty of the tour, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Peggy's Cove is beautiful - so glad we got to experience this. Our driver, Cameron was very friendly and knowledgable. We only had a few hours space during a working trip and this tour meant we got to experience a lot in a short time.

"Sunset Tour" Without the Sunset - missing half of the tour

We booked this tour expecting the experience described in the itinerary, but unfortunately it did not match what was advertised. Our group of 5 was picked up late from our hotel and driven directly to Peggy's Cove. The tour description promised a narrated sightseeing drive highlighting Halifax attractions such as Pier 21, the Seaport Market, Halifax Waterfront, Alexander Keith's Brewery, and Fairview Lawn Cemetery. None of these stops or highlights were included. The guide shared some general facts during the drive, but the advertised Halifax tour portion was essentially omitted. We were also disappointed that, despite booking a "Sunset Tour," we were not at Peggy's Cove during sunset. The driving felt rushed, and several members of our group felt motion sick. Peggy's Cove itself is beautiful and worth visiting, but for $90 per person we expected the tour that was advertised. Unfortunately, the experience we received did not justify the price.

It was on time. Our guide was wonderful—very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Even though Peggy’s Cove wasn’t really my favorite spot (is simple) , the guide’s good service made the tour worthwhile. The sunset was nice…I am glad I took the 6PM tour.

The driver did not show up at pick up point. Called office and they did not know where driver was. Cancelled trip office person says they will provide refund, however no email confirmation sent. I. Contact with my credit card company as it appears this was ascam

DO NOT BOOK - they overbook to last minute cancel on you

DO NOT BOOK. I booked this trip 3 days in advance, two hours prior to my departure I get an email telling me they overbooked and I no longer can go. I was on a business trip with a small window to explore Halifax and this ruined my plans entirely. A little more notice or perhaps you don’t overbook trips ever!!!!! On top of this I sit with the charges and no response from Viator. I kindly ask you to refund the amount you’re pointlessly charged. I’ve tried to call with no one answering and emails are not answered either

An excellent tour with Makoto

We had a very short time in Halifax and booked our tour on a stormy Thursday evening. So we were glad that the weather did not derail this tour. We were met by Makoto, our tour guide, in front of our hotel on time. Apparently, the other people who booked the tour cancelled so it was just me and my friend. Makoto was very friendly and enthusiastic - it was such a great impression of the Haligonians. He told us he’s been doing the job for about a month but he’s very knowledgeable and informative. He was able to answer the questions we had. He also gave recommendations for restaurants, etc and asked about our plans so he was able to provide helpful tips. Makoto kept on schedule but was accommodating and adaptable, making sure we know that we can always ask if there are places we wanted to check out on the way. His stories were entertaining and were delivered with great energy so the drive to/from Peggy’s Cove was not boring. More importantly, we arrived at Peggy’s Cove and back to our hotel safely despite the weather and not the most ideal road conditions. Makoto was very flexible enough to give us extra time to shop and dine at Peggy’s Cove. Overall, this was such an excellent trip and would book it again should we return to Halifax (hopefully Makoto as the tour guide)!

It was highly recommended; the driver (Pedro) was punctual, very friendly, and the tour was informative. Spacious car, safe trip, and Peggy’s Cove was a great experience in very good weather - unfortunately, we could not experience the actual sunset, as the sun was still a bit too high at departure at 8 PM, after a 1-hour stay... the return trip took a different route, and we were dropped off at the hotel again.

Le soleil était au rendez-vous. Parfait c'est pour ça que j'ai réservé le Tour. Je me suis présentée comme française et j'étais ravie lorsque le guide m'a dit qu'il pouvait aussi parler en français, SUPER. il n'a pas dit un mot pas dit un seul mot en français et parlé parlé parlé en a.glais bien sûr un peu comme un disque pendant tout le trajet aller et retour, heureusement on a eu un peu de musique...Comportement un peu trop formaté à mon goût. Il doit avoir des consignes.
