Great tour!
Great experience at Tikal with Jose! We were lucky enough to visit the park on a day where you could clearly see the sunrise. Jose was informative and kind. He was respectful of our time and how long we want to spend at each temple. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Wonderful tour
We did the 4:30 am trip to Tikal from Flores. It was well organised, and Jose was a very informative guide. We entered the park after buying our tickets at 6:30 am. There was a restaurant and bathroom stop at the park gate. There are other bathrooms located by the ruins within the park complex. No need to feel desperate, if that is a concern. It was a good temperature for enjoying the sights and wildlife within the park.

A perfect day trip! We...
A perfect day trip! We started off with a comfortable (but long!) car ride to Lake Atitlan. Upon arrival, we met our guide, David, and had breakfast with a view. He was a wonderful guide who made sure we experienced all we wanted to see. We loved San Juan and Santiago. We opted to skip San Pedro so our kids could have time swimming in the lake.
Would highly recommend this excursion. And if you go, hope you are lucky to have David as well!

Fun day out
The tour was fantastic and a highlight of our a trip to Guatemala. Lucio was warm, knowledgeable, and relaxed and it made for a great experience.
This trip may be on the more expensive side compared to others but definitely worth it. The lunch was also delicious, an added bonus.

A Must do if in Guatemala
I sent a message to the tour company 24 hours before to ensure they still had us booked as I didn't fancy getting up at 2:30am and no one picking us up, and they replied immediately confirming pickup details. The journey from Flores took a little over an hour and the minibus was completely full, and a little cramped, but this trip wasn't about the transfer. Make sure you purchase your Tikal entrance tickets AND a seperate sunrise ticket seperately, as there is no phone reception in the park. Upon arrival we had approximately a 40 minute walk, at a very brisk pace to reach Temple IV, and then one final push to climb to the top of it. Make sure you take a torch as the group does get split up a little due to the pace. Once at the top, the early morning start was 100% worth it. We were fortunate enough to see an awsome sunrise, and to hear the howler monkeys awaken was magnificent. After sunrise you continue the tour then at a more leasurely pace, with time to enjoy the scenery. Our guide was excellent providing not just information on the Mayan history, but also the wildlife we saw during the morning.

Fun way to see these sites
Such a fun way to see Altamira and the Cross. Ample time at both stops. 3rd stop canceled but they made up for it by giving us extra riding time.
First time on ATV and handled well. Tour guides were very friendly and obviously concerned for our safety. Definitely recommend.

Amazing tour to Lake Atitlan and San juan! Highly recommend!
What a wonderful experience! Nice communication from Pedro before the tour. Elli was my guide and Carlos was the driver. Safe and friendly driving from Carlos! Elli was so sweet and a great guide! Knowledgeable and helpful. The tour was well organized. Great stops along the way. The views from the lake, boat ride and demonstrations were great! I highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Guat2do!

Had a great time, tough climb, totally worth it
Had a wonderful time! We were almost the last stop of shuttle for the morning, so a bit of a wait, but comfortable ride once we got going. Stopped for coffee on the way since it was the last stop, and appreciated with early start. We're given option to rent a horse-taxi and/or a walking stick once we got to the volcano start. Price of admission to park is not included in tour, bring $100Q. The climb is med/difficult, but plenty of breaks, bring lots of water. Many scenic outlooks for photos make it worth it. Lots of time at the top to enjoy the view and cool off. First halfway thru lush greenery, 2nd half was lava rock and more slippery and dusty, the rented pole really came in handy. "Roasted" marshmallows toward the bottom of the decent, more like melted, but still fun. Very tired and sweaty at the end. There place to get refreshment at both side of hike and along the decent as well. Horses come along and are offered to people when the climb up becomes too much, the price goes down the further up you make it. Starting at $225Q then I heard half price at one point. Be aware, while English is listed as a spoken language, is minimal, announcements are all in Spanish and you have to ask the English speaking guide if you have a question to explain.

Fun ATV Tour & Shopping with Leo!!!
My wife and I really enjoyed our fun cultural tour of small towns outside of Antigua. The town squares & churches were beautiful. Our guide Leo was very professional and his hand signals were very easy to follow. Leo was a super fantastic guide. In San Antonio we purchased hand made textiles from Lea. Prices much lower than Antigua! We had a delicious lunch in one of the small towns and stopped by a Chocolate association where me learned about cocoa beans and purchased some of Mayan Gods nectar chocolate and honey! The jade factory was lovely and we were able to find a masterpiece. Ask for Leo you can’t go wrong. Thanks Leo! Mark & Sheri

A must-do
I'm not one to write reviews but this really was the highlight of our 6 day trip. Very beautiful scenery while driving, the water reserve was very nice as well. Driving the ATVs seemed a little intimidating at first but you get the hang of it fast. Would definitely do it again.

A good day but a long day.
Long day (11 hours). Know that Chichicastenango and Iximché are not very close to each other so about half the day is driving. That said both are well worth a visit and i felt we had enough time at both places. Our guide was good though did not have much to add during the long drives. Adding wifi to their vans would be nice in the future.

Hiking and horseback riding Pacaya Volcano
Unforgettable experience! Much more challenging than I expected. I’m glad the “taxis” (horses) were an available along the route. Riding horseback partway up Pacaya made the climb easier while still taking in stunning views. Hiking across lava fields and roasting marshmallows over heat vents was surreal. A must-do in Guatemala — magical, humbling, and unlike anywhere else.
