Cozumel may be famous for its beaches, but some of its best finds are tucked away downtown. Walk beyond the waterfront with your guide, hear stories about island life, and arrive at an unexpected find: Cozumel’s first distillery. Inside, house-made rum and gin are crafted steps from the bar where you’ll taste them. Sample each one neat or in cocktail form and discover how ingredients and distillation shape the aromas and flavors in your glass. Then, watch a bartender turn those spirits into signature cocktails before taking the shaker into your own hands. Balance the flavors, add a final garnish, and enjoy the cocktail you created.
