Carlos was a wonderful guide. We drove out to meet him from Hermosa, expected to be about 100 minutes. There was a wreck on Route 1 that stopped the highway entirely. We called and asked if rebooking was an option due to the issue on the highway. They said as long as we were not going to be more than an hour late, no problem or they would have refunded almost all of the money. The nature tour was awesome. We saw multiple types of life: poison dart frogs (up very close, picture quality is National Geographic with an iPhone) a tapir, multiple sloths( one about 3 feet away) toucans, a host of other birds, a couple of snakes, a baby viper and even a tapir from maybe 10 feet away. Our tour guide and the local site guide were so enthusiastic and willing to help with pictures for everything. The hike up to the Celeste Waterfall was worth every moment, easy hike, great views and incredibly scenic. It rained every 15 or so minutes but you are in the rain forest. Poncho not really needed. Lunch was the local fair and all in our group ( my wife, two daughters, 22 and 20 and one of their boyfriends were all thrilled.). The tubing trip through the Celeste River from the same water fall was not just a tube float trip. Class 1-2 rapids and you actually get some excitement. Rope swings, trees loaded with monkeys and the guides were fun. We had some local fruit ( so fresh!) snacks and were on our way to visit a tree. Do not skip the tree part! Some argue it’s 1,000 years old and others argue more. It’s humbling and amazing at the same time. Perfectly safe to do the drive on your own but take a 4wd if coming from the coast. You go into a wildlife tour knowing you may not see much wildlife, however Johnny the guide has incredible ears and eyes and is able to find a huge variety of interesting flora and fauna. Even if I'd stood looking for a year I wouldn't have found some of the insect's, frogs, tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and birds he identified. And a sloth! All this while being an engaging guide who keep the whole group interested. Also it was lovely to learn about life in Monteverde and local culture. I was little nervous about waking around the forest in the dark, but Johnny made us feel safe and comfortable.

Such an amazing trip! Started off with pick up from our Air Bnb and was greeted by our guide Ulysses who was awesome! From there we were provided with a delicious lunch and rode up to the river. The ride to the rafts was a little long but Ulysses made it interesting by giving us facts about the local areas we were passing through. The white water rafting was scenic and we were able to stop at a waterfall and swim at multiple points on the tour. Definitely recommend!!

This was my third time with this group. The people, staff could not be more friendly and welcoming. Our boat trip was filled with critter sightings and interesting information from our guide. The lunch was generous, delicious, and fresh. All in all a fun and interesting day.

This is definitely an off the road excursion. It’s insanely cool but tougher than I was expecting. Be prepared to be wet and dirty. Definitely need to be fit to do any of the side quests like the “birth canal” but would definitely recommend if you want something different than regular nature in La Fortuna.

This tour was an amazing experience. As someone who is afraid of both heights and water due to not being a strong swimmer, I was nervous going in, but I would absolutely recommend it. The scenery throughout the tour was stunning. The ziplining portion did feel a bit rushed, and the photo and video package for ziplining wasn’t worth the cost. However the rafting portion was incredible and truly the highlight of the day. Our guide Moi/Moises was absolutely amazing, full of energy, incredibly enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He even pointed out wildlife along the way and let us take turns riding in the front like a bull, which was such a fun touch. He is truly a gem and I highly recommend requesting him if possible. The rafting photos were high quality, beautiful, and definitely worth purchasing.

We hit the ground running and experienced the best culture night tour on the streets of San Jose, Costa Rica. So much history, heard about William Walker who actually lived in my city, New Orleans, This tour was above and beyond greater than any of my expectations. Karol and Johana were amazing guides, we learned so much and there was so much to see, cork trees, beautiful parks, coffe bean trees, historical buildings, art work, live opera performance as we were passing by! Bravo with a wave. We met great people too. Somos más que Café is were I experience a warm and tasty cup of coffee, it was a cappuccino with a hit of ginger and lime, it was so very delightful. We ended our night at a very unique dinning spot with the best Authentic Costa Rican food ever, there were several meal options to choose from, drinks for me 2 glasses of Sangria, My dessert was a brownie with vanilla ice cream, “ you know what it’s called” Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!🇨🇷🫶🏽🇨🇷

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. This was sooooo much fun. Our instructor FIFO was a great teacher. It’s hard at first, but once you get the hang of it, you feel like a pro. Can’t wait to come back to Costa Rica to surf again. I understand the excitement around it now
