What are people saying about Cologne

Fun and informative.
Our guide Sander was great. He taught us a lot of interesting facts about Cologne and ended the tour with a fun Carnival tradition. It is time well spent to learn about the interesting history of Cologne. You will be on the lookout for bananas on buildings after the tour and will have an understanding of their purpose. Sander also gave us a recommendation for potato pancakes near the tour end. We enjoyed the snack after.

It was very interesting!...
Despite the sweltering summer heat, our guide kept the tour engaging, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. We learned so much about the city’s history, architecture, and local culture—things we never would have discovered on our own.
We also got recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems. We ended up eating at one of the places our guide suggested, and it was fantastic! It made us feel like we were experiencing the city the way locals do.
If you’re visiting and want an authentic, fun, and educational experience, I highly recommend this tour. Thank you for making our time here so memorable!

Great Experience
Travelled to 5 locations, first 3 beers are included in the price but last 2 need paying for by the group.
We were a group of 8 with no others so was effectively a private tour. When booking we had to do a group of 5 and then a group of 3 as the process was limited to 5??? This was fine though.
Alina was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and added to the experience. Lots of fun stories along the way too. Would definitely recommend to others coming to Cologne.

Marina is the best!
It ended up being just our group of 6 with our guide Marina. It was a crowded Saturday afternoon in town, but Marina got us right in each location and made us feel like VIP’s. Great history information, great beer, great time. Highly recommend Marina!

World War 2 Gestapo Headquarters tour
Not too much walking on this tour, but more than a few stairs. If you have difficulty walking, you might not like this tour. We did not have trouble walking and really enjoyed this tour. We toured the gestapo headquarters, and it was so very interesting! Our tour guide was Marcus, and he was full of knowledge about world war 2 history. He told us many side stories that we had never heard of before. And he also told us of some personal stories from his family that lived through the war. He also told us that he had talked to and had the privilege of meeting survivors of the prison at the bottom of the gestapo headquarters…very interesting!!

Excellent Cologne Food & Kolsch Tasting Tour
Falke and the Semi-Private Cologne Food & Kolsch Tasting Tour was awesome! It was great to talk to a local and receive insights of Cologne. Having a smaller tour group allowed us to ask random questions to understand the area, history and culture. Thanks for the recommendations, we’ll use them during our stay.

Thoughtful and enjoyable insights into the culture and landscape of Köln
This was an outstanding tour with our guide Christian. The focus of the tour was on what the city is like and what it means (and has meant) to the people who live there. A fair amount of history was included, but as it directly relates to the life and culture of the city. Christian also dealt with sensitive topics (e.g., Nazism and the Holocaust) in a critical and thoughtful way, and several of the sites where we stopped related to these events. He was also very personable and knowledgeable, as well as being responsive to the needs and interests of group members. I highly recommend this tour.
