What are people saying about Greenwich

Vg but one observation
First rate commentary outbound from Westminster to Greenwich; not so strong on the retrn journey. Everything else went well but it is irritating to be greeted suspiciously by Ticket Booth staff as "imperfect" for not having bought tickets from the coordinating Ticket Sellers

Best Way to Travel to Greenwich!
Fun cruise down the Thames with the driver pointing out important sites and giving a bit of history. Much more exciting than a train, we loved seeing lots of London from the river! Best way to travel to Greenwich…and back!!

Peter was awesome! He knew so much about all things Greenwich. The tour encompassed way more than we expected. Highly recommended!

  • Greenwich is a lovely spot for London-goers looking for a break from the big city, offering a mix of history, culture, and scenic views along the London River.

  • Plan to spend at least a half-day or a full day exploring the area if you want to take in all the sights, including the world-famous Royal Observatory and Greenwich Market.

  • Wear comfortable shoes to explore on foot—it’s full of hills, cobblestone streets, and steps. Be sure to bring your appetite for some delicious London food found at local markets and eateries.

  • If you plan to visit during peak times, it’s wise to book tickets in advance for popular attractions like the Royal Observatory and the Cutty Sark to avoid long lines.

  • The Royal Observatory and many of the other attractions in the Prime Meridian location are wheelchair accessible.
